Mineral Research Sample Respawn Timers

Does anyone have good info on the respawn times for mineral research samples?  The Astroneer Wiki says, "After being harvested, the Research Sample will respawn within 2-3 minutes," but I've found this is inaccurate, and have noted it sometime takes a week or more for these samples to reappear.

I think the higher quality of the research, the longer the respawn. On Desolo, it's near constant respawn for me but on novus it was like 30 minutes.

One thing I can confirm is that when you plant a seed I am 99.9% sure you will get a research pod but I am not sure if it will regenerate another research pod after harvesting it.
