I'm having problems launching astroneer I'm using an amd processor and was wondering if there is any way to fix this problem or when the patch will come out.

Knowing the brand of one of your components isn't helpful. Please supply more detailed system information as the example below. Please also describe when exactly the crash or freeze occurs.

Platform:
Steam / XBox One / Windows 10 Store

Version Number:
1.1.3.0

Specifications:

  • OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 | v. 1607 | Build 14393.693
  • CPU: Intel i7 4790K 4GHz
  • GPU: R9 290X OCII 4GB
  • RAM: Corsair 2x8GB DDR3 1600Hz
  • Drive: Samsung 850 Evo 500GB (Only write down the drive where Astroneer is located)

---

If you're on Steam... The most recent crash-on-load issue that I an recall is this, you could try the workaround in thread below.

"if you go to the steamapps/astroneer directory

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ASTRONEER Early Access\Astro\Content\Movies

 remove the following files:   legal*.mp4      loading*.mp4  seslogo*.mp4."

You don't meet the minimum specs unfortunately. The game requires a discrete non-mobile graphics card.

Has it worked before? Did you try the workaround?
