How about a printable elevator that can be placed like a landing pad. Visually something similar to mining elevators, with a cage the player can enter. To operate, the player must first dig a hole straight down to desired depth. Secondly, place the elevator module over the hole and supply it with power. Maybe the elevator could have a Tier-2 slot for storage or an oxygenator.

I would love elevator modules.  There could be two versions: the smaller passenger elevator and a rover-sized one.

I agree with your suggestion. And I think that need a more improvements.

Here are some of my improvements:

First of all, the elevator transport rail must be one floor for each printed package, and the top of the elevator can be attached like a slot on the platform by unpacking and stacking it up like a tower.

Secondly, the elevator car, the area where the user is boarding, can be printed separately and mounted on the installed rail.
Of course, to install an elevator car, you also need to install a mechanism to operate this elevator car at the top of the elevator. This can also be printed separately.

Usually elevators are divided into different types to suit their needs. Typical applications include passenger, cargo, and automotive. For this reason, the elevator car should be selected and printed according to the purpose.

For the third time, you can also install an "Arrival Platform" where the Elevator Car arrives at each floor. You can install it on each floor if you like, but you do not need to install it if you like. If you do not install the arrival platform, you may pass through that floor. By applying this mechanism, you can build an elevator as like apartment or a company when you install a platform for each floor, or you can design an elevator to go only to the ground and ground if you install the platform only at the bottom and top.

Finally, the required power of the elevator may vary depending on the type, but is usually about two RTGs.
