This game's beauty still amazes me

Recommended Posts

So do we Barn...so do we.

I can't even tell you how many times I've just gone driving to explore, climbed a mountain to get a view of the land, then had it all unfold below me as the sun rose and just stood staring at the wonder of it all. I can't wait to see how Terrain 2.0 looks... (^_^)

too right. this game's aesthetics are magic fairy dust for SES. i can't say how many times I've loaded up this game and ran it for a few hours, not to collect stuff or build more junk, but to just explore and look. hours, man.

and these guys need to expand that, as they expand everything else. imagine that beautiful landscape - but with an alien temple on the horizon. imagine that sunrise from orbit - but with a mysterious craft hanging in the rays of the sun. imagine that deep cavern space - but with strange, possibly intelligent movement half glimpsed in the shadowy depths. beauty and wonder.

it's a dream i sometimes have.

You are totally right. Every time I play I find so many things to just stare it...well worth £12 without even "playing" the game. I am getting excited for next week! What awaits us?

Could not agree more about the beauty, the land scapes are gorgeous.

One of the weirdest things about the game for me though is that i am not afraid of heights in real life at all, but when exploring caves and chasms and i turn a corner only to find there is no floor there and a yawning hole waiting to swallow me up i undeniably feel a shot of fear and vertigo when i see the floor hundreds of feet down there.

I mean, i have done rappelling as a job before and gone down 180ft cliffs blind folded and its nothing. Anyone else notice this? Lol
