Steam - - Small fabricator prints into items on rover

Small fabricator prints into seat when used on large rover.

When the small fabricator is put on a large rover, it does not account for the items on the other slots, so during printing it prints into for example a seat. See attached image

This is likely becasue while attached (slotted), certain modules don't have a physical radius. In other words, they're rendering as a visible object, but don't have an interacting surface. It would seem printers adjust print location based on interactive surfaces (ground, open slots, crates , etc.)

Vehicles would be extreamly limited mobility wise if modules protruding in-front, and behind, had hit boxes; becasue they would collide with terrain, and hinder clearance. Thus, this is just a technical snafu that likely wont ever be fixed. Of course, that's just a supposition based on how most games handle this kind of situation.

To put it simply, your Rover Seat and the Medium Storage you are printing both do not have an interactive texture, even though they are interactive in other ways. For this reason, they both are both inside one another. Fixing this "glitch" would require both of these objects to have an interactive texture; this would greatly lag the game.
