I am using a keyboard and mouse on the Steam version.

I was walking to a mountain using the left side of the tether path (the side with the cursor in the first photo), when it suddenly just deactivated/shut off.

I thought that it was one or two tethers that had been disconnected, but no, it was a whole lot of them.

Unfortunately, I died from suffocation before I could see what the problem was, but when I respawned, I looked at the place where the tethers should have been, and for whatever reason, they were connected to the "habitat" (I forget what it's called in game) but they were shut off as if they had been disconnected, while the right side of the tether path had not been shut off.

I fixed the left side of the path by just disconnecting the tether from the habitat and reconnecting it, and that seemed to fix it. The tether hadn't fallen over or anything, and I put it in pretty much the same spot. (And of course, I only thought to take photos after I had reconnected the air flow. )

I'll upload a couple more photos.

As I was making the second photo, I thought that maybe the right side hadn't been disconnected because of the shuttle?
I'll upload a photo of the length of the tether path.

This'll be the last post on this thread for a bit so it doesn't seem like I'm spamming.

Where I first noticed it had shut off is where the marker is located, and then the end point is located at the base/house marker.

Sorry for so many photos on this final dump, I tried to take as many as possible and delete the useless ones.

I died when my string of tethers just went black, for no reason. They were all still connected, with no breaks.

After I respawned, I simply pick up a tether and reset it back in the same exact location, and oxygen began to flow again.

The lines appeared black, not blue, but they were all correctly connected to my base. I guess it's a glitch.

That's exactly what happened to me, I"m just terrible at explaining things.

Same for me...tethers going black for no apparent reason. Picking up the tether closest to the base station and dropping it re-establishes the connection.

I had a similar problem, latest version on the xbox one. I was on barren and the tethers disconnected from the main base. I tried reconnecting them, no use. Didn't work. The only tethers that were still connected were those linked to the shuttle. The pervious ones did NOT reconnect.
