Starting a new MT for Patch Notes. I've also un-pinned the Merged threads we had in relation to these updated issues.

DECEMBER 29th, 2016 - 0.2.115.0 (Xbox users can expect an update in the coming week)

 

Full patch notes above. Performance and stability will improve slowly over time as we update the game with patches in the future.

DECEMBER 22, 2016 - 0.2.111.0

  1. Fix invert Y for gamepad applying to cursor motion
  2. Controls screen accessed from pause menu now correctly displays controller buttons when using controller.
  3. Fix host's gamepad cursor becoming bugged when a client joins
  4. Fix ability to pick yourself up while in a seat, and being unable to leave seat.
  5. Fix bug where after loading a save, unplaced dropships would freak out.
  6. Add ability to enter seat even when it's detached from a vehicle
  7. Add ability to sit in a dropship while mounted on a vehicle
  8. Allow the 2 expansion slots on backpack to use Filters, Tanks, and Tethers
  9. Fix exploit allowing player to trade for infinite resources by thieving the item like a pirate while launching
  10. Fix bug that would not allow a full oxygen tank to save an Astroneer from suffocating
  11. Cut value of Fuel in half on Trade module
  12. Double power requirement and production time of Condenser
  13. Fix known physics problems when attaching things to large storage on truck
  14. Fix bug allowing player to make building platforms after a conduit hub has already been branched.
  15.  Change the Shuttle/Spaceship conduit hub type to the same as the habitat
  16. Allow Shuttle/Spaceship to reattach to previously created hubs
  17. Fix algorithm that picks the height of new base platforms, so that flat terrain makes flat bases

DECEMBER 20, 2016 -0.2.108.0 Steam (Xbox/Win 10 Store Users should expect these changes in the next patch, aiming for this week).

  1. Fix deadlock causing freezes on many people's machines, especially those with dual core CPUs.
  2. Fix 10 different crash issues affecting save reloads, multiplayer joins, and general gameplay.
  3. Decrease performance impact of distant objects
  4. Fix certain performance problems that appear after loading a save.
  5. Optimize tether networks to significantly improve framerate performance.
  6. Tethers now go dark when disconnected from their sources.
  7. Properly disable VR plugins

Still seem to be having issues with framerate on my current rig, but there has been somewhat of an improvement and I didn't actually freeze during my time testing the new patch. Definitely a step in the right direction!

Thx for the update guys.  I don't suppose you guys have a timeline on how long these updates will take to get through Microsoft certification for the Xbox version?

The developers have said in the forums that it will be about a week (or less now) for the Xbox version to get a patch.

This is a cool feature but bugged, if you pick one of these dark tethers up and put it back down while it's still disconnected from an oxygen source, so long as it does connect to another tether that link will be blue again (but the rest of the tethers in the disconnected line stay black)

Definitely better performance than before, my savegame seems to run very decent at the moment where it was extremely slow/sluggish after some hours of playtime before the patch. Good job :) keep on keepin' on & happy holidays!

They first want to make it more stable and get as much bugs out of the game so evryone can play it a little bit. After that i think the new stuff will be implemented ;)
