  1. Right now I have a tractor and a large rover but when I try to drill with drill strength 1, it just stops moving and goes into the ground. Please fix. I am on xbox 1.

    1.1.3 - XBOX ONE - LAG

    Hi there. So at first, I only got lag on my Xbox One X, when someone would join my world, and then would stay laggy, even when they left, until I would save & quit. However, my Solo World has started to lag severely, making it really tedious to do really anything. Has anybody else experienced this? Does anyone know what could reduce and/or get rid of said lag? Thanks.

    Just a cosmetic suggestion, maybe add some steam and Xbox related suits, colors, and visors. And maybe like a factory 2fa cosmetic if you have that option here.
  5. Hi. We played for 3-4 hours 2 days ago and continued yesterday but the game started to slow down on host and later on client. First only low GPS, later it was stuck for a few moments and then only frozen screen where I had to close the game. Are there still major performance problems after release? I play on Xbox One X.

    Is it possible to copy a game save on the xbox? I have friends that join my game from time to time and would like to create a seperate save for those occasions without starting a new game from scratch.

    Low framerate on xbox

    Hello, I didn't know where else to turn to. It wasn't so bad on version 1.0.6 but the 1.0.7 update, my game just struggles with the fps. I do not have very many tethers active and I still are only getting like 16-20 fps. Is there any way to fix this?
  8. The update worked great for the first 10 min. Frame rate is noticeably improved especially on Xbox. But after 10-15 min. of play, the game won't save! I thought I could finally play the game after the last patch. Love playing this game. Please address this issue!!! I do NOT want to start a new game.
  9. While drilling to the center of Vesania, I got close to the center (far down, very light gravity) and went to save my game on the surface. Since xbox tends to crash about 1 in 4 saves, I want to save often so as not to lose a lot of work. Save was successful, but on the way down, the game crashed. I tried walking, sliding, rebooting my Xbox several times, and I checked my wifi connection. After several hours of trying to get back to where I was, I relocated to another area on the planet and tried again. I reached about the same level in the planet and once again the game crashes as I'm trying to get back down to that level after I save. It is literally impossible for me to get to the planet center of Vesania. I have patch 1.0.15.0. I am not using tethers at all for this journey. It says you get the crash logs from Xbox, so you should see dozens from me on Saturday and some more from me today. This is frustrating as it is a complete stoping point, not just an annoyance at frequent crashing.

    Crashes on Xbox 1

    So I play on Xbox, and every time I go into as spaceship/rover/base, or try to save and quit, the game crashes and my progress is lost for that session. This happens EVERY time. PLEASE FIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. i have searched everywhere and nothing is showing for the 1.1.2 update that seems to have installed itself on my xbox but not on my windows machine. my daughter wanted to play some cross platform multiplayer astroneer but we cannot till the versions get re-aligned. any idea when i can expect that to happen? windows 10 OS versionm is 1809 so latest. my windows store version of astroneer is stuck at 1.0.15.0. she likes the "preview" she now get of her outfit for a new game, so its not all bad news...
  12. This game was released TWO MONTHS ago, but you still cannot complete it on Xbox because it crashes EVERY TIME during the ending animation. Also, the animation and audio are out of sync.
  13. It has been TWO MONTHS since this game was released and v1.0.15.0 STILL CRASHES DURING THE ENDING SEQUENCE!!! The audio is also still out of sync during the ending animation.

Currently astroneer has a major lag issue on the xbox one even after the last performance update, fresh worlds run smooth and going from an older world to a new one makes astroneer feel like a new game going from 10fps to 60. I have no idea what's going on but the more me and a few friends of mine progress(multiplayer or single) the slower the worlds become and the more lag we experience regardless if we are on a new planet or not. Not long ago astroneer crashed and kicked me to the xbox home screen because the lag was so massive in a multiplayer game. There has always been lag to a severe degree in the xbox one version and I could excuse it when it was in beta but now that its 1.0 and up I cant justify these issues. Please work on another performance update for the consoles.

This may be already a plan for dedicated servers but if not why not put the option to set a spawn point of course you would need a habitat to do that or generally just change the landing pad model to the starting landing pad model to do that this could help if for example a friend wants to play with you but then you have to basically spoil them if they are new about the "ya know what" in order for them to get to you if you are working on something in another planet.

One thing that pique my interest in astroneer was the old storm system, it gave a sense of danger to a new player since they wouldn't know the games features that well however, after a few days you learn these features and the storms became a nuisance because they came so frequently and sometimes back to back. They got removed of course and I was happy until I realized that the storm system gave suspense to the early game and could potentially give more suspense even to a end game player at some points. Here's what I got so far Sylva/Vesania- wind storm -storm doesn't do direct damage to the player -make movement a bit hard -can move items that are not protected by the wind or arnt on platforms or connected -can move the astroneer if they arnt behind some object redirecting the wind (this can lead to falling of a ledge if you were farming soil and didnt do it somewhere safe and went careful) Desolo-falling rocks or meteor shower -since desolo has no atmosphere and is a rocky moon with craters this would make sense -would prefer it to not make object not protected into debris but that's up to you since it can also encourage players to make a underground base or a base with a roof -meteors do direct damage to the astroneer but wouldn't auto kill them -area of affect impact but not to huge -removes chunk of land but not by much on impact Calidor: dust storm/sand storm -why not bring back the original storm -flying rocks still appear -hard to walk -obscures visibility Novus- no storm -since I've seen some suggestions for animals in the game why not make novus populated with some hostile animals would make sense for a forested moon Glacio-snow storm or hail storm -Snow storm -Obscures visibility -makes astroneer very hard to maneuver because you are cold and some wind is in affect -hail storm -hail falls down causing damage to the astroneer if not protected -hail comes down fast and many come out making a roofed base or underground base a must Atrox- gas cloud -since Atrox has a chocked atmosphere with sulfur and methane being some of its components and it being known as a radiated planet it would be the perfect fit -huge cloud comes in making the air around you have a poison affect -roofed base will not protect you -any base not underground will need a habitat, preventing new players from just going to the planet without consequence -gas cloud is more frequent then the other planets storms in order to make it truly be the games hardest planet as of yet Please tell me what you guys think and I worked really hard on this. P.S: these storms will not happen as frequently as the alpha's storm, maybe for the gas cloud though.
  17. Hello there, So I bought Astroneers way back but the Microsoft store says I don't own the game. This hasn't really been an issue until I saw that Astroneers has Xbox play anywhere. Here is my problem, I can't play on my pc. I have no idea if you can fix this because it has to do with the Microsoft store. No harm in asking.   18. I just had ANOTHER CRASH ON SAVE and lost TWO HOURS OF WORK! I am beyond angry and sick of this "game" not having a reliable save game system. FIX YOUR GAME SO I CAN SAVE MY PROGRESS!!!
  19. OK, had the same issue at 1.0.9.0. Decided to start a clean game after 1.0.13.0 dropped. All went well until Vesania. I did the planets in a different order this time hoping for the best. This time, just as with last time Vesania killed me. I opened node 2, then 5, then 1. After opening 1 the system will claim to save my game. The Xbox will even do it's game stutter like it is saving a file. It even updates my save file name when I change it. But alas, it is all a lie. It will not update the file any longer. I also still have the random crashing with using any save game option late game. It seems to hate the rover seat more than most, but any option will do. On a side note, LOVE the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just hope the fixes come at reasonable intervals.
  20. Trying to play v1.0.13.0 is still a virtual slideshow. The framerate is still far too low for enjoyable gameplay.
  21. While running on Desolo, the game froze completely. I waited a few minutes and pressed all buttons on the controller, but nothing helped. I had to use the Xbox button to close the app.
  22. Can you please fix the multiplayer co-op on the xbox? the host of the game has huge FPS problems, but it’s only for the host the players joined have excellent FPS. Also the game crashes often in co-op but mostly when getting in vehicles, sometimes when players are far and/or underground. Thank you.

  24. Great game guys! Keep up the great work!!! I have noticed a big bug that has to do with one of the most important things for the game.. SAVING the game! I experience bugs all the time throughout the game and I accept that because this is a "preview"... However, when I save the game I feel like that should be the most stable part of the game. With all the bugs in the game I really enjoyed the fact that I could hop from PC to Xbox whenever I needed to based on location etc. I constantly experience a massive change in the landscape when I save a game on one device and load it on another. It seems to be a bug syncing up the data. As a developer it seems really simple to me. When the data is changed and then saved on the new device the data needed to generate the landscape, objects, etc should be saved in some type of compressed file (that has a checksum) and then sent to the cloud. Then the device getting said data when it starts to play the game should download the compressed file and use the checksum to verify the contents 100%... I have seen some of my object completely berried that I have to dig out etc. It takes a long time to fix the damage to my world(s). Falling through the ground in my tractor when on solid ground (https://xboxclips.com/armega/6b4dba7e-fd85-4606-b58f-ff9091fb30f2) or having to constantly deal with the tractor just not starting and playing the hop in/out game is not a big deal. Saving the game is. Mouse/keyboard? Controller? I use a Xbox controller on both the PC (win10 - via usb cable) and my Xbox. Steam? Xbox? Xbox/PC What were you doing leading up to this bug? - Log on to Astroneer via my laptop and start playing the game. - Build a base on the moon (spending hours of time making it look perfect). - Save by hopping in the spaceship and by exiting via the save and exit to main menu option. - Shutdown laptop. - Turn on Xbox, load up Astroneer and load save game. Any steps that we can take to reproduce the bug on our end is appreciated. See number 3 above.
  25. Summary: 1.0.9 - Xbox - Controller loss of signal action continues. Description: When a dead batterie or loss of signal from the controller the astroneer continues the last action inputted until connection is regained and another action is sent. When this happens durring digging or walking it is almost always a death sentence for the astroneer unless you are lucky. As someone that enjoys hours of gameplay, controllers often go dead. Can we please have the astroneer stop its action at a timed delay after losing connection to inputs. Saving countless lives and resources from recovery efforts?
