  1. I noticed occassional lag/stutter during coop in the past that I couldn't explain until today. I started digging a tunnel near my base, about 40 degree slope while holding CTRL and using the Wide mod to get a nice wide straight path downwards. My coop partner and I have been using it a lot today to get to lower levels for resources. I am hosting and what I do doesn't matter, but whenever she is sliding down the tunnel, we both start lagging/stuttering. On my screen I see her rubberbanding around me, always sliding past me, then teleporting back up and sliding again. Even when I am nowhere near the tunnel, the moment she slides anywhere in the world, we both get stutter. I can reproduce this 100% of the time. We are playing from the same room and our normal normal connection is perfect. We have 150 mbps upload/download internet. Platform: Steam, Windows 10 Controls: Keyboard+Mouse Graphics card: GTX 1070 (PC, host), GTX 1050 (laptop, coop partner)
  2. Hello, I just purchased Astroneer and have been enjoying the game a lot. However, I've noticed a lot of FPS (frame rate) drops while playing and while troubleshooting online only one solution has worked for me. In order for me to eliminate any stutter or fps drop I need to set my steam launch options for the game with the "-nosound" command. Now this fixes all my fps drops, however it's not ideal to play this game with no sound. Now I've noticed this was a problem almost two years ago and was wondering if there has been a fix yet that someone knows of, as I could not find anything else online. If your interested in my specs I will list them down below, also keep in mind this is a brand new laptop I just purchased as well. Laptop: Asus Scar Strix III CPU: Intel i7-9750H GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 RAM 32GB 2TB SSD, 2TB HDD, 2TB Virtual Drive

  4. For quite a while now I have been experiencing a constant stuttering whenever moving around in the world. Noticed HDD activity light was in sync with the stutter. So I wanted to see what was going on. Not sure if these events are the direct cause or just part of the same: Every time there is a stutter those two events pop up in a pair. CreateFile and QueryOpen. Both calls trying for the file “Popper.bnk” that does not exist (obviously). Ignore the different drive letters on each event, the path is the same (one is a symbolic link).
