  1. ok this is what happens, bugs everywhere with vehicles that fall underground, so we need a respawn vehicle station, maybe to maximize performance too. Maybe options for the vehicle station: 1- List all the vehicles you have in the real world. 2- select, choose vehicle from the list of vehicles, option to eliminate, reappear, dismantle, recycle. 3- Information on the current location of each vehicle: start the emergency light to rescue it by means of a minimap or gps, then they would have to do gps? LOL

(Steam version The Research Module when filled with any unknown object wet to be researched, when opened its module menu in order to start its function...(one mouse left click uncover button cap, second click activate green button, but when accidentally pressed following a third click it immediately cancel the research eliminating the current object. Consider adding a 1 to 3 second cooldown so this can be avoided. Also, add to research items, a short description for each.

Summary: 0510 - Steam - Energy stacked is not being used until the end Description: So until now this has happened from time to time: my stacked energy ressources do not get used until the end, eventhough i put them in situations where they normaly should provide energy.   4. I came up with the idea of if we were going into orbit, why not be able to make a space station on whichever planets orbit of your choice? There could be multiple uses for it and even additions to the vehicle bay or 3-d printer for the parts. Making it also augmentable would be a really cool feature to it as it could allow some freedom and having the station for different uses. Any other thoughts?

Hello!! i encountered a problem with the research station and the base in general, after collecting enough energy for a block, I put it in the station and it is fueled, but if that block is not used fully, I can not use it again, the station simply ignores the block and is only supplied by blocks that have not previously been used in it, as demonstrated in the video below:
  6. Hello ! Version: 0.2.10131.0 Plateform: Steam Language: FR Screens: -1- -2- Vidéo: -1- My backup is blocked, i can't use my stations anymore. At first I created a research station, everything works well. At secondly, i created a foundry station and right next, an empty station (just with two resins). Since my stations no use energy (blocked at 95%). The problem started with the foundry, i didn't use it more than once. And so ... i can't melt anything to create my 3rd station (printer). Savegame locked ! I have succeeded to inject energy into the first station by placing an energy stack in a module located just before. In short, i try everything, the stations remain blocked at 95% loading. You can watch my backup ? Thank you.
  7. It would nice to have a landing pad so that when you're landing in an established base, you can tell the space craft exactly where to touch down. Just experienced my space ship landing right in the middle of my base, causing it to clip through a couple of my stations. Maybe the landing pad could also be set up to automatically refuel the ship if you have the fuel attached to the landing pad.
  8. I'm sure to post more ideas but these are the yuge, bigly, most impressive ideas to improve orbiting that anyone could ever make. 1. If there was a way to speed up time while orbiting. Even just 2x would make transfer to the Exotic planet more bearable. 2. Space station. Intermediary point in the solar system to improve chances of making a one-shot to your desired location. Likewise, easy to reach from everywhere. Perhaps this could serve as a Galactic Economy hub and storage/trading/ship customization? 3. The Orbital Map itself, and the camera in orbit could withstand a rework. The camera always needs to be panned after planetary transfer, instead of automatically focusing on the planet's surface and landing spots. *edit - I play on Xbox, use standard wireless controllers
  9. - A suit modification station that allows you to alter your suit's attributes. Things along the lines of a lighter suit that allows higher jumping and less fall damage, but increases damage from collisions and other sources. Or perhaps the alternate with a heavy suit. Then an addition on the left side of the backpack that allows you to easily see which modification you have on. You would also be required to visit the station to change modifications. - A blend feature for the terraforming gun that allows you to naturalize terrain so that ramps or nicely angled ground is more achievable. Perhaps make the visual for it an empty or completely filled circle. - Allow the extensions of the base to manipulated or more easily controlled. For manipulation, permit them to be raised or lowered with the reach of the wires, allowing the ground to be lowered or raised within a certain distance of them. To visually support this, metal legs or stands could extend from the bottom of the platform to the ground. - A research journal that keeps track of known research. Just a quick reference to see what you can build, what it takes, where it's built, and if you have built it and used it for what it's used for, a small description of what that research/item does. By having only learned research in it, it makes adding more research in the future easier. (Plus, what kind of astronaut/engineer wouldn't have journals?) - A feature for the terraforming gun that removes only surface materials. It's understandable that those materials are gathered by "mining" them, but perhaps, conceptually, it would be a lower power setting on the gun that doesn't alter the ground, but is enough to remove items on the top such as organic material and loose deposits of oxygen and power. It could possibly even take less power to use this mode.
  10. So i kinda completed the game and thought we need upgraded stuff. Like a Tier 2 Solar panel generates faster power or Tier 2 storage, 4 new slotts
  11. It will be cool to add a space station for this game where you can land with the space ship, go around, expand it and have utilities like a planet base!
  12. My idea is to add a platform that would be specifically be used for generating and storing power. Item: Power Station Function: Consolidated location for generating Description: This platform would have three Double ports for power production. (Solor, Wind, Coal) Item: Power Storage Station Function: Consolidated location for storing power Description: This platform would have four Double ports for connecting batteries. I envision it as two towers each holding two batteries. You would find these via research that only allows you to build the platforms. You'll need to use the printer to produce the parts. I thought of this after seeing many sprawling bases filled up with all sorts power generators and storage. I thought it would be cool to have platforms to consolidate them so bases wouldn't have to be so spread out. It would also help players that land in confined spaces, or prefer to make small bases.

I think they should add a Space Station into the game, Heres how it would function.- The Space Station would orbit the planet it was built on.- The Space Station would have 4 docking stations for 4 different shuttles and 2 docking stations for different spaceships.- The Space Station would require, Aluminum, Copper, Titanium, Lithium, Compound and Resin to make, Or it could be made with scavanged crashed probe pieces.- The Space Station would have a Printer, Reserch, Smelter and a Fuel Condenser.- The Space Station would also contain a trade station and a Shuttle Bay (Will Explain Later)- The Space Station would require around 20 tanks of hydrozine to be launched into space.* Shuttle Bay Idea *Second idea is that you could flout around the space station, you'd be connected by a cord offcorse.- The Shuttle Bay will be outside the space station, and would allow you to build space crafts like the Shuttle and SpaceShip.- It would also allow you to build an Unman'd space rover (Will Explain Later) which is a new vehicle idea.- I it would also allow you to repair your Space Station (Will Explain Later)* Unman'd space rover *This is a new vehicle idea, - This vehicle will be controlled remotely by you from the confort of your space station, It can be destroyed unlike rovers and trucks.- This vehicle will be attached to a Mini shuttle that will fly it to any planet and drop it off before leaving to refuel. You can collect your rover any time.- The Rover can be damaged and can be destroyed, mostly from rolling or storms.- The Rover will have 10 spaces for meterials, and 2 arms, 1 with a drill and one with a hand to grap meterials.- One collected the rover will be flown back to the space station and docked * Space Station Gameplay *This is how the space station would funcion- The Space Station will require power to function and supply air, if a solar panel is damaged by an asteroid, it must be repaired, or the space station must be evacuated, as your character will suffacate within 10 minuetes.- Asteroids can also damage the hull of the Space Station, And Oxigion will start decreasing, this must be repaired or you will suffocate.- The Space Station must be maintained, by you or your friends
  14. Build the space station in the menu and be able to dock your shuttles at it
  15. So I just had a quick idea for the very far future of astroneer and I am keeping in boundaries if what sounds realistic so I won't be talking about guns, space dragons or sand worms. This idea is also touching upon things that are already in the game. We have all seen the down'd space ships much larger than the ones we fly, the ones that have a seat attached to it in the center by a pole. I'd love to see down the line when this game is more developed is a blue print to create space station/ship of that size and be able to launch it into orbit. After it is in orbit it cannot land back on a planet because of its size and it acts more of a stop for smaller ships such as shuttles to refuel and get resources. Of course what space station would be complete without your character being able to space walk and move around on the station. Of course this is a little on realistic considering the planets are all moving quiet fast around the sun and I'm not sure how the mechanics of keeping in orbit while being able to freely space walk or jet pack around the station without free floating away would work. I'd imagine it would be difficult to make work. Possibly tethers attached to your character to keep them from floating away or just be in a certain distance from the station. Float to far and you float away, more than likely dying. Another small Idea I had for a feature is we all know we ca attach habitats to space ships and bring them to other planets. How about while in orbit around a planet we can simply detach the habitat from orbit and land on are selected area. Not really much of a feature considering we would still have to land anyways, but it adds some depth to the game in my opinion. You could also drop a supply crate to other bases without having to land for friends that are on other planets.

  17. Portable Research Station (PRS) Hi, I've been travelling to other planets a lot lately, purely to discover new research items. Right now I either need to store them aboard my spaceship or build a base on the planet's surface and make a research station which costs a lot of resources. I would love the idea of being able to take my research station with me and plant it down on another planet instead of having to grind to make a research station, or having to fly back with it to my home planet and waste fuel. This also applies for travelling across the planet's surface. Sometimes you need to venture out far from your base in order to find some rare research items. If you could take a research station with you then you don't have to return home every time.
  18. Hey everyone. Ive got alot of ideas for the devs and i hope maybe one will make it to the game. This is a mockup i made in blender for a possible Portable Storm Support Station or (PSSS). Basically you could build this, and if you got trapped out in a storm in a bad situation you could place this on the ground and it would keep you safe. Now i know you could just dig but this could be a nice addition for a storm that sneaks up on you out of nowhere.
  19. I built something using the Printer, but then it wouldn't let me switch back to the Smelter. It only leaves up the build options for the Printer. Any advice?
