  1. It would be nice to have some form of character progression in Astroneer, namely a light skill tree involving jobs related to the game's mechanics. Let me explain: The way I see it, there are four quintessential jobs necessary to have a working planetary base: - Scientist - Engineer - Explorer - Gatherer Scientists are the players who constantly hunt for research pods, node outcrops, EXO supply drops, and unique plant seeds. Right now you can basically beat the game in less than a week, as new things are added this will change slightly, but i suggest adding things like upgrade stations (for improvments of tools and vehicles over time), maybe even skill point upgrades. This will really end up helping the replayability of the game too.

  5. I think that there should be something unique about each different astronaut choice besides just their appearance. For example, one could run faster, while the other has more power/ oxygen or something. Either that or the ability to customize your own astronaut, and give them one special preset characteristic I think would be pretty cool. Maybe even a unique starting gadget for each different astronaut. I don't know tell me what you guys think.
