Summary: 1.11 - PS4 - Salvage initiative not saving progress Description: When doing the salvage initiative multiple times I have saved and logged out and came back to progress at 0. I have put several hours and about 12495 or more points into the salvage event. I have duplicated off my main file for testing. There were time where I would load in at 0 and times i would load in at 495. During the initial salvage run on sylva I accrued roughly 5-7k points. I saved via tractor then saved and quit to title menu option. Came back to 0 points. Later on I moved to Glacio to farm research and to try the salvage initiative again. Open salvage and it showed 495 points out of nowhere. Roughly 8750 points later I saved on the tractor, saved on the small shuttle, flew to sylva and saved at the base, and finally save quit title. now im logging in and only see 4950 points Platform: PS4 Version / Build Number: 1.11

Summary: 1.6.61.0 - Windows 10 Store - Wrecked stations multiplied Description: On Sylvas, as I approached a surface node in a rover, it seems that several wrecked space stations near the node spawned several times, overlaying on top of themselves. This created a massive FPS drop, using 106% of my graphics performance (per Windows game bar). Looking away restored FPS once a fair distance away. Unsure of possible solutions. I was using Mouse and Keyboard. Platform: Steam / XBox One / Windows 10 Store Version / Build Number: 1.6.61.10 Specifications: OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 | v. 1809 | Build 17763.805 CPU: Intel i7 6700 3.4 GHz GPU: 2x Nvidia GTX 1080 8GB RAM: 32.0 GB (G.Skill TridentZ 4x8GB) Drive: MAXTOR 500GB

I had an idea quite a long time ago that you can have low quality, medium quality, and high quality printers. Lower quality printers are more likely to experience failures when printing. These "failures" cause the objects to come out as shreddable Debris. Low quality printers "fail" 30% of the time. Medium quality printers "fail" 15% of the time. High quality printers "fail" 0%, maybe 2%, of the time. Obviously, different quality printers have different recipes.

I was wondering if there is any way to salvage wrecked items that you find. If not, is this a plan for the future?

I have been trying to get scrap on astroneer and havent found away of transporting multiple amounts of scrap and debris to shred.i was thinking of a bucket that could be attached to the medium and large rovers that could hold and carry debris with out falling out or glitching the rover.

Sorry if this has been mentioned somewhere. I looked some to make sure. I like the added feature of the salvage and the shredder. With so much salvage around could there be a tethering system for the salvage? That way you can haul more than one piece of junk back to base. I guess this tethering system would also work with research items but of course there would have to be a limit on how much you could tether together. Larger items, for example: platforms, broke down modules etc, would be single carry where as the smaller items such as debris could be tethered together. Maybe even tether things to the vehicles. Love the game. It's super addictive. Thank you for all the hard work put into this game.

I think it would be a great feature in the game to choose what you start with i want to hop in a world and get a moble base asap but by the time i have the materials i dont need the moble base. It would be a waste of resources.

I found a small item with flat top and bottom but rounded sides, in white, with red spot on top. It's tagged as researchable but the research workstation does not recognize it. Neither will the shredder recognize it to shred it. Any idea what we can do with it apart from playing kickaround with it lol?

Summary Big salvaged Solar panel disappeared. Description So wandering around my planet, I found one of those big wrecked solar panels that was usable since it had a cable plug. Brought it back to my base and decided to set it up(with much difficulty and some swearing). I hooked it up to my lines and attached a winch on a platform to make sure it won't move. After I came back from exploring a cave system I found far from my base, I looked over and it had disappeared. Attached are some photos of the journey that solar panel went through. Version / Build Number Alpha(0.9.0.0) PC Specs OS: Windows 10 Home Single Language | v. 1803 | Build 17134.165 CPU: Intel i5-6300HQ 2.30GHz GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M - 4 GB GDDR5 SDRAM RAM: DDR3L SDRAM 8GB Drive: Hybrid Drive 1TB

I used a winch to get a broken rover what was marked as salvage and i took it back to my base to get scrap and there was no way i could actually put it in the shredder

I found a wrecked rover with an open 1-seat that says "salvage." I'm a bit confused on what to do with this. Is there a way to salvage this for materials?
