With bases becoming so large and complex i feel that it would be helpful to add a base part that creates a set of S.A.W (self automated workers) to help you do mulitple things at once from one terminal and/ or search for resources. It could be somthing you could add to a rover aswell to search for and tell you where resource nodes are.
  2. ROBOTS My brother and I were playing the latest version last weekend and started setting up atmospheric condensers on different planets to gather specific resources. We would go do other things and then planet hop back to those planets to gather up the resources that were made. This led us to start talking about how cool it would be to be able to build mini resource gathering bases scattered all over the solar system, where you have a team of robot workers that would do the gathering for you. All you do is setup these bases, let them do their thing and then return to gather up what
  3. Astroneer is a great game. I was around way before the 1.0 update and loved the game. The 1.0 update was bettet than i imagined. The terrain, planets, and even the machines looked EPIC But, There are 3 things i think would make the game way better. ROBOTS A little bot could make the game a whole lot cooler. Im not asking for the dev team to make a gigantic terminator planet dissasembler powered by the might of zeus.   4. 1. There should be robots that can be assigned to collect things or do other things that can be helpful to the player. They should take power to make them less overpowered. They should also have different models that do different things for you; like: cranes, or small/big walking robots. 2. There should also be forcefields to protect your base from storms or other things that get added. They could also take power to have turned on all the time.
  5. From some gameplay of Astroneer I would love to see some automation and simple electronic systems. For instance, a cable system set up to power lights everyday and night, by a stronger generator with an advance solar panel all connected together. These cables can be placed to power different machines and different types of batteries, perhaps a robot-like pet who needs energy to survive and can help carry more items, attack potential enemies, or even spot out rare resources. I think it would cool to implement a drone center as an avaliable upgrade for a station • Scout drones that could travel in a certain range from where they were deployed would be able to find resources and then drop next to them and turn into a beacon for later recovery • Harvest drones that could say be either attached to your backpack or be able to deploy in an area that would gather all resources in that cluster and make a small pile of resource bundles • Hunter drones that can either be attached to backpack or deployed in an area that would seek out dangerous plants and d
