  1. I recently went to Calidor for the first time and got on my vehicle and attempted to start Paving roads and started getting stuck in random places. you're a few times I had to respawn in my home base and fly back out and walk to my dead body. it's even worse on Novus but I just now realized it's on Calidor too. Please help.
  2. It appears that I can't start a new game for some unknown reason, the landing pod (that are launched from the main menu when starting a new game) flies AWAY from the planet & eventually I get switched to the solar-system view, instead of the pod landing on the planet, but I can't select any planet from that solar-system view either, it also doesn't seam to fix itself by waiting for something to finish loading, it just refuses to restart, I don't know why. I have NOT tried to delete my previous saves yet, because they are the only thing that can actually still be played. Does anyone else have this problem? Any ideas on how I can fix it? Should I attach my save files here? or is that unnecessary? Reproduction steps: Currently Unknown. Reproduction GUESS: * Start a normal survival game (if you can?) * Play around until you can fly to Glacio (& play there too) & also play on some other planets. * Exit to menu (restart the game if you want, or even restart your computer) & try to start another survival game. * If the pod launches AWAY from the planet, then it is working & you will soon see a solar-system view with planet orbits & stuff, but you can't do anything with it. Good luck, I guess? Thanks for help. Edit 1: Windows 7 - Mouse + Keyboard - Steam
  3. Quick info: I'm using mouse and keyboard, I'm on steam. The first time I joined my friend online it worked out fine, and this is the first time I play the game outside of the tutorial, not even singleplayer yet. I could rejoin him the next few days and a few weeks in this starts happening. I rejoin him by going to the "Co-op" menu and clicking on his name then clicking join. The screen says "Loading the solar system" and after maybe 30 seconds it goes back to the main menu but this time there is no "Co-op" menu, only the first one. At that moment it says on the bottom right "session host "my friend's username". Then the top option on the menu says that I can join my friend, so I click it but it just takes me to the customization screen and so I go through it then it restarts me in my dropship and so I have to wait for my friend to come from Vesenia and pick me up. NEWLY DISCOVERED INFORMAITON: I just attempted to exit and rejoin my friend while writing this while he's working his way to get materials on Vesenia for a dropship to pick me up from Sylva back to Vesenia, and I found that while I was waiting on Sylva, when I exited and rejoined, I didn't have to restart. I personally think bug is because I'm on planet other than Sylva. Anyways, any help with this bug would be fantastic. I also found that joining my friend from the steam overlay (the shift+tab thing) it worked temporarily, but it returned to restarting.
  4. Hi team, The save function operates as normal for a random number of vehicle entry-exits, it then hangs for a few seconds longer and a grey screen appears. This then shuts down the game and you're on the Xbox menu page. Reloading the game immediately, it then sends you to a black screen with the normal loading sounds in the background. No credits or button appear. If you wait for the usual load time to expire and press the 'A' button, the screen credits appear with the button reappearing later as normal. The orbiting station appears as normal once loaded. On this the last saves previously made have gone and you find an older save from hours of earlier gameplay. Eg,I I played for 4 hours with around 20 saves at intervals after midnight. I saved at 03:00 for a few hours sleep. Woke at 07:30 and played again until 09:00. The saves again crashed gameplay. Reloading, I was at the orbiting station with the last useable save at 03:00. Only one save point is present on the orbiter and all previous version saves were deleted weeks ago once V9.2 was loaded. I hope the problem is easily sorted as the lost gameplay is an aaaarrrrgggghhhh moment.
  5. Hi, strange thing happened while I was far from my base, so not much information on it. WAS: I have a base. I have "train" of 4 connected medium rovers. Train cars: Medium rover with 1-seat and medium solar panel on top and medium turbine on front Medium rover with large storage with 2 medium storage placed on sides of large storage and a work light on of the medium storage Medium rover with large storage Medium rover with 1-seat and medium solar panel on top and medium turbine on front (copy of 1) ACTIONS: I printed a large rover with 1-seat on top and wanted to test it. So I took 1 medium solar panel and 2 medium turbines from train and put them on large rover. While performing this operation I disconnected train dividing it into two parts each having rover with seat and rover with storage. Then I went far from base on the large rover. Then there was a night with very few wind, so I stuck with no battery in the middle of nowhere. I exited the vehicle and was hiking around. Then I quit the game. After some time I launched game again, played a little more waiting for morning or wind, and quit again. After some more time I launched game again. This time I waited for sun and when vehicle received power I went back to base. When I came back there was only 1 medium rover with large storage. 2 rovers with seat and 1 rover with large storage with 2 medium storage on it disappeared. I drove around base, but there was nothing. Also no sandstorms happened while I was absent (at least such that I could see or hear). NOW: Present: number #3 from "WAS" list Disappeared: numbers #1, #2, #4 from "WAS" list SETUP: Steam Usually Steam Controller, but this session (which includes 3 game launches) I played with keyboard and mouse All session have been played on the same laptop Ask freely for any other information like detailed base setup or screenshots or system specs.
  6. Xbox ONE - I have found a bug which is rather easy to repeat and very annoying. .. When entering and exiting the Vehicles usually rovers and trucks.. you can crash.. sometimes it happens on its own times it happens when you touch or move any part of the controller. It then puts me back 2 3 4 times further than my last save not the last time i entered and exited the truck or rover. I have lost allot of Lithium and Titanium as a result. I was able to finally find my truck and train with tethers but i took alot more work and hours than you would think nearly 5 total 3 last night and 2 this morning. Another bug is ENERGY DRAW and CHARGING .. When you start a game you have to pull off the solar and or wind in order for it to do any good to charge you or the vehicles. I would suggest this be fix and also you can't draw energy from the Truck or rover (i think when lithium is present) SUGGESTIONS (Beacons which STICK for Dead Astros along with LARGER or HIGHER than normal flags for last position besides fixing the bug. Have other suggestions but will put them in the correct section as well .. This would be LITHIUM Batteries LAREGE make it so you can stack 2 or 3 and place a solar on top of it. or a windmill .. The other would be #Merged Verion is 0.2.10131.0 btw sorry also one other thing.. you can build on top of Things you should not be able to.. Crane on top of a rover with seat and then it falls off and your not able to move it to a correct vehicle I would adjust these items so they don't build but if they do which i built a crane so far on top of a double seated space ship and a rover with perm seat and as a result they are sitting on the ground useless jeff #Merged ok as of last crash.. i could not recover everything from dead astro..and on top of that I"M MISSING 2 TRUCKS from that site they are just GONE.. i do see a vehicles floating above visable range but no way to get to them high c WHAT that Heck hahaha... took me better part of weekend to make and start base 2 and resources now they are gone .. 3 dead astro's 2 high cap lithium batteries, 2 windmils, and all the resources mined and on the vehicles... help
  7. If I collect those yellow power crystals and attach them to my base, they normally get consumed to generate power like I'm guessing they're supposed to. But if I restart the game then sometimes the crystals I've already collected stop generating power no matter what I do with them, yet new crystals still generate power just fine.

    No Saves, Deleted

No saves after starting the game. my two saved games were there last night, played one that had over 8+ hours logged, and when I started up my owned copy of Astroneer, just the four default pods are there. I'm logged into my account on Xbox One, also tried restarting the game and it did not correct the problem.
  9. After starting the game again and loading my save, all my tethers have been unlinked from the main grid. That is, before the game, they worked perfectly fine and were visaully connected with the platforms that you build printers/research/smelters/etc on, and were also transporting energy/oxygen. After loading the game, the tethers were still connected to eachother - but there was no visible connection with the platforms, nor were they transporting oxygen/energy. Here's a proper connection with a small platform: Here's a connection with the platform - as you can see, there's a visual connection with said platform. as long as i'm in the working distance from the previously pictured small platform. The fact that the line comes from the large platform is only a visual thing. The picture below showcases what happens when I'm still close to the large platform, but far enough from the small platform: Here are two tethers that worked previously, but, as you can see, aren't connected to the grid anymore How to repeat: Play the game, make tethers that are connected to the large platforms, but aren't in a working range to any other element of the grid (cables, smaller platforms). Save, quit, launch, load, suffocate far away from the base right next to a tether, be confused.
