  1. what if you had to build a space station to build a new spaceship to go to another galaxy where you find more and more blueprints to improve your ship. For a long journey to a destination unknown.
  2. Since astroneer added cameras recently, I was think of ways to get good aerial shots and views. This is my solution. Camera Drone! Can be controlled up to a certain distance away from the player. Can be accessed from a field shelter or a habitat. Has 4 tier-1 slots, in which you can put mods or resources in. (Be sure to also put a small battery on it) You can take photos with it from the air, or maybe even make videos with it! The drone would also be able to drill surface resources and dig up hazards. It would also be able to research consumable pods. It could also be used for scouting ahead the best path, and maybe even place down items like tethers or beacons!

  4. --------BEGIN TRANSMISSION // Fellow Astroneers, I have been exploring this vast ocean of stars with friends for just over a year now, and like many of you, I have grown to love this game and it's beautiful depiction of it's solar system. Being heavily inspired by the feeling of pioneering, the intensity of a storm, the adrenaline of exploring strange worlds where no one has been before, I sought out to compose an album of 10 musical tracks that represent what Astroneer means to me. I realised as I composed, exploring the Universe was never a happy feeling, rather it was loneliness mixed with a sense of grandiosity. There was something comforting about seeing an impressive world with its' mountains and flora, even though I was the only creature to exist is such a vast system of planets, but the sense of being alone never halted. I tried to capture this emotion in my album titled, 'An Ocean of Stars'. My album consists of 10 tracks as listed below in the tracklist as well as a Prologue that features a sentiment to set the mood. I figured it was necessary to utilise electronic sounds that had a melancholy tone, as well as an orchestra which symbolised the imperfect and organic nature of humanity amongst the synthetic. I knew that the start of the album had to be hopeful, that the astronaut leaving Earth had to carry the aspirations of the entire Human species, and that as the album went on, the astronauts hope had to fade into a realisation that he would sacrifice himself for scientific advancement, leaving behind a legacy that would shape the future of our species. Incorporating all these elements into this album was a challenge to me, but it was something I thoroughly enjoyed and I am proud of. With the finished album available now on Spotify (and iTunes/SoundCloud), I feel there is more use to it, and after testing it out as a backing track for the game, I realise that it actually suits the game very well as an ambient soundtrack. I would like to offer my album to Astroneer for free, if you (the community and devs) enjoy it. If you have any feedback, I also welcome that. Why for free? Because, like that astronaut, I am willing to provide my music generously in the hope that it improves players experiences in the game even further with some new and different music. If you would like me to compose more music other than what I have already released just for Astroneer, I would also be honoured to do that!   5. I really wish their is a way to deconstruct base structures, because they take up so much room and sometimes aren't always fully used. When a player would deconstruct a structure the player should receive 50% back of what he put used to build that structure with. I hope you guys will add this feature to the game!!

  7. Minimum resolution allowed is still very high, not all people have a pc that runs the Minimum of this game, minimum resolution was to be 800x480 Pixels. So that it is accessible with more devices, for example I wanted to play a lot, but I can't because my notebook can't run this game with more than 25 FPS, this will make the game can be sold and searched in the future, within the gamer community. Currently the minimum resolution is 1280x720, Very high FOR MY VETERAN WAR NOTEBOOK!!!
  8. Since there is the biggest rover and rover, why do not you add a glider machine that can fly? It is an amazing idea, as it may be possible to explore the planet (not very wide) with this machine, so you can also see resources as far as the eye can see! Obviously this "glider" will be done with resources a little rare! 2 of resin, 1 of titanium and 1 of coal, so it will last a little longer!
  9. Hi it's been a while since i played astroneer. I checked my twitter and then... THERE IS A NEW .. UPDATE!! So yeah i'm now playing the game now, and wondering some questions, and ideas. My question is: What do this generator work? That generator on the base, iknow it's just a fun question. But it works at night so its not the solar panels on the roof. What kind of generator is it?

Water World I'm going to divide this idea into Six parts so you do not get confused Introduction and presentation of the planet: Based on a real planet called Gliese 1214b also called WaterWorld It is completely covered by water without a terrestrial layer on the outside, but if there is a terrestrial layer inside the planet, (probably 70% water and 30% land layer) (Illustrative image) Survival mode on the planet: making survival more complicated due to lack of oxygen since the planet is mostly water makes the survival of the player more complicated. also adding "the depth and pressure system" As it happens on Earth, the deeper it is in the ocean, the sea or the lake, there will be much weight for the subject collapsing, reducing the ability to breathe or killing the subject directly. Depth: In this part when falling to the water will reduce the oxygen of normal form as if the player has disconnected of its base reducing the oxygen of the backpack. High depth and high pressure: In this part the oxygen of the backpack will be reduced double or triple the normal speed reducing the view to a dark tone by the high pressure . Obviously, when the bar reaches zero oxygen, the player will die because of suffocation. So, how is it possible to place a base in the middle of the ocean with no land on the surface? Type of bases and modules: 1°) Marine Platform Here I contradict myself, but to create this base and add the modules we would need parts of land like small islands to sustain themselves this would be a level 1 platform with basic construction objects And finally we come to this: 2°) Floating Habitat In this type of base we will have our habitat floating in the middle of the water with some types of floats When you enter the planet, the parachutes in the air will open to decrease or reduce the shock between water and habitat And finally it looks more or less like this, the storage and the modules can be added to the floating habitat like any base in the terrestrial one adding floats also. But how is it possible to be displacedif you can not walk or run? New appearances and movements: Diving Suits replacing the astronaut suit with a diving one using the "Mark V" model from 1918, since it completely covers the body from head to toe as if it were a reskin of the astronaut suit but can only be used in water. It works as a complete replacement of the space suit for a full movement in the water to deploy at the same speed for example walking and running Using swimming animations to perform the movement and deployment of the player It may also go underwater but will reduce oxygen with the depth and pressure system explained above. Natural Changes: Rains this I like more like a wink to the planet "Kamino" of the saga Star Wars, It also works as a warning of thunderstrom Thunderstrom This is more dangerous than the normal rain due to electrical lightning that if it falls on one of the base objects it could deactivate them for a few minutes and if it falls on the player it is death assured volcano submarine This was an idea of "Utopic Vision" in the little amount of earth that there will be in the planet there will be movements of tectonic plates and they will carry out violent explosions and eruptions coming from the volcanoes, and would give the possibility of generating land in the outside.   15. I truly believe this game will thrive with more than the current planets we have. It would be amazing to see new planets/systems you could travel to. This would obviously require a top-tier rocket but I believe that it will improve the core gameplay and bring in more players.
  16. I have purchased Astroneer yesterday and have already spent 10 hours on it. I have a suggestion: a machine that can be researched that will automatically fill canisters with soil. I got this idea when I spent 2 hours filling canisters with soil so that I could use them in the Mineral Extractor and found that it is very so a grind. I fully understand this but, my idea is that this machine works slower than a player could fill canisters. Of course for that you don't need to go somewhere and dig for 2 hours, instead you work on your base or do other things and come back to filled canisters. Please let me know what you think, and ask any questions you have about my idea. Thank you!
