  1. After running into the (hopefully already well known) bug three times since the latest patch, I think I've finally discovered what triggers it. The last time it happened, I had just built my first worklight and put it onto my backpack on one of the shoulder spots. After that, I wanted to do some cleaning up in my base. While moving around some materials from one place to another, it finally happened. Only thing left I could interact with was the habitat. I proceeded to save the game and suffocate my poor astroneer explorer next to the habitat. After respawning, I noticed the bug still persisted, so I saved again and restarted the game. Back in the game, the corpse of the old astroneer had already vanished. All the items I had were there, except one. The work light, which, for some reason, disappeared. Gladly I found that I can pick up all the items and the bug was gone! Also, all the items on the ground had shrinked to mini versions of themselves, so it might be I just missed the worklight somewhere on the ground. I searched very carefully though. This has been the third time I had the bug happen. It was a new game with about 20 minutes of playtime. The first time was on my main save game with many hours of playtime. I remember the bug happening after coming back to base from exploring the planet with my rover train. I also remember I had a worklight on the front bumper of the rover. Like the third time, it happened when I started moving things (including the worklight) from the rover to some platforms. The second time the bug happened was also about 20 minutes into the game. I can't remember exactly what caused it then, but I'm pretty sure I had also just built the worklight around that time. All this makes me come to the conclusion, that in some weird way, it all has to do with the worklight. TLDR: I think wearing a work light while moving items may cause the bug to happen.
  2. Summary: After several hours of play, my character (host character only) can no longer interact with items within my pack, object on the ground, nor objects on storage(s). Description: After several hours of play, my character (host character only) can no longer interact with items within my pack, object on the ground, nor objects on storage(s). Upon opening my pack, nothing can be clicked but the pack can be put away. Use of the terrain tool in unaffected, as well as jumping, running, O2 depletion and damage from falls. However, damage from evil plants seems to be broken now as part of this bug also allows minor "no clipping". After an hour of testing, it seems that my "world" has been split in two sections, divided by an imaginary line. On one side, everything is once again accessible and my pack works, but on the other side of this "line" (invisible) everything breaks again. For example, I can run around on one side of my base and clip right through tables, fabricators, etc, but when on the opposite side of my base, the game is normal and running through structures is impossible. I have a save backed up with this bug on it and reloads, restarts and resyncs haven't fixed the problem. I'm noticing this bug pop up again and again lately so this could be a rather disturbing bug as it appears to be a bug that causes save breaking. My save doesn't appear to be recoverable without a patch so if anyone becomes effected by this, do not save. Again, this appears to corrupt the save of the host and seems to only effect the host and not multiplayer "guests". I've attached a copy of the save below. Excavator/interact bug

When using the keyboard the key ‘e’ interacts with object and pulls out the excavator to be used. The bug is when trying to interact with an item or object, i.e. when getting in a river, the character model pulls out his excavator gun instead and gets into a fit bolstering and unholstering the gun every time ‘e’ is pressed.
  4. Okay, so the bug happens the same every time I accidentally do it. Basically, Once you're in orbit of a planet and have chosen a spot to land, the animation to land starts. however, the icon above the shuttle still exists. this is where the bug comes in. if you hit the icon above the shuttle again. you get stuck either viewing the orbit of the planet even though you are on the planet landing. or you end up on the planet unable to interact with anything, craft anything or take off again. you are locked out of it all and the landing locations are still viewable from the ground. if you try to reload the save it lets you but is still locked out of everything, since the shuttle saves when it lands. Anyways, that's all, time to start a new save, hopefully, I don't do this again, third time lucky? these saves have the bug listed above. AI to interact with

First off I love the game but sometimes it gets lonely. Just a thought of mine of adding "AI" like aliens or creatures of some sort to interact with.
