  1. Hey there. I played Astroneer a few hours with a friend. He was the "Host" and i joined his game. Later, i summery all the Bugs that i have mention it right now to post here. (We have both - high-end PC with new graphic-drivers installed, and internet is very good (no laggs or something)) - so the only problem is that game itself. Synchronisation: The "bugs" or "issues" going up more, if "players" and the "Host" go far away. It only need to be out of sight, like walking underground, in one direction or travel to other planet. Mostly of this Issues are: His Miner is a big large combined ressource pack (organic material, alluminium, harz, quarz, all colours of that). If he start to dig some, its going even bigger and the "avatar" is underneath(see Picture: host player with ressource). (this bug is no gameissue on performance in itself and its funny to look, but pls fix this) - Some Buildings that i want to start, like the Chemical-station or Earth centrifuge (with ressources that i have in backpack or on the Platform), cant start, cause the "green start button, is black, and cant press. "the connection are full of energy", so no "no energy icon is displayed".... i have to pick up the station and put it on that platform again, to synchro it with the Base or with me again, and then i can press the "green icon" to start to produce. - The "host" player have a bugs too, that if he enter the Habitat and press his button to leave, he is outside with avatar, but his camera view is still in the Habitat and he cant see his avatar(cause he still see that he is in the habitat), but i see, that he can walk around, and do things. the only fix that u can do is to lead him to open space, that he can die on oxygen(but his backpack is then still in habibat and cant pick up)[not even the reload from him or gamerestart fix that, only if he is dead, and respawned) Shuttle: (bugs going more, if only the Player travel to other planet, not the "host")(if both travel, "host" has no problems, or little, but still other players) Travel to other planet only "the player"(not Host), going issues, like i cant see landing zone on planets few times(and if i join again to that game, while i in the shuttle, i have to start new in mainbase(without anything) and the shuttle is still in space and cant land or something) Ressources or Equipment, that are in the backpack are gone, after i can land on another planet or home sometimes. Sometimes, its a loading issue on thrust nozzle, if the shuttle break that, cause its break, i see 20 thrust nozzle breaks in 1 seconds in close succession. (so maybe synchro issues or something?) Vehicle: Trucks or Rover have some bugs on starting to drive with trailers behind them. "Host" have only little issue in 2-3 hours, but always the player, who play with him. Explain: The other player(not host) entry the "rover-seat on a rover" or Truck and want to start drive. One Issues is, that the Main-car drive, ---- but the trailers 1-3 behind him stand still. If he drive more, the connection breaks(like that the trailers are a platform or something). The only way to solve that is to drive back, connection the trailers to the Main-Car again, one by one, and u can drive, until u go out for digging or some else and entry the Truck or Rover 5-10 minutes later, the same bug.... The second issues is sometimes, that i entry the Truck or Rover(with or without trailers), the build in front are a middle size store with battery´s, or solarpanels, or what ever, that if u drive, all of the installed equiped items on the Truck or Rover are still in the air, where that vehicle stand, but u can drive with the power(cause its connected on that vehicle, but u see the Equip in the Air 20 meters behind stand still), only a "reload" of me(the player) to the "host"-game can solve the issue. The Third: And another problem is, u entry the Truck or vehicle, want to drive, u sit in the "air" and u drive the car around, where u want. But the "avatar" is still in the same position u start off (see picture: vehicle third bug) MFG (i report more issues here or new topics that i see)

I`m running the game as host and day 2 of playing the game the fps drops below playable <30 fps - Day 1 Game runs fine 60+ fps, did some exploring and little base building. - Day 2 Game starts at 60+ fps, did some more base building and exploring with tractor and then the FPS drops begin. CPU max 60% GPU max 90%. Lower my resolution from 1440P to 720P no effect! All setting to LOW no effect, restart the game had no effect. Running game on i7 7700, 1060 3gb, 16gig, ssd, win 10(newest drivers) Are more people having this problem or is there a fix for this? This Dutch men really want to play the game but at this point it unplayable
  3. As soon as another play is invited to game, host gameplay slows down a lot. It gets worse if joined player is using the excavation tool; player joining is at normal speed.

    Rover Disappeared and Co-op Bug

    This one is a 2 part bug that may be connected? Has anyone else experienced vehicles disappearing? I have been playing solo in a new world since the last update, and had created a train of medium rovers to take underground to harvest research and whatnot. After attempts to co-op, which I’ll talk about later, we were a go and discovered that the “drive” rover in the train was gone. Everything else was still attached with the research onboard. Lost the rover, 1seat, power items, and medium storage, as well as the single pin items and tools on that storage. Searched everywhere on the “green level” but only found busted rovers and equipment that were originally down there. We even checked under the actual ground in that spot as things have been known to go submarine lol. Still nothing. Ended up building a large rover (with backwards 3seat attached) to replace what was lost. Tried a co-op game in my world with my brother and after a few attempts to join, he luckily said, “hey what if I create a new game from the menu and see if that brings me to you.” Luckily it did. In multiple attempts, we each tried to invite or host each other but after the host prompt in the top left went away, we were stuck in limbo in some wall/surface. I’m attaching a picture of this. After about 5secs the screen booted back to the “alpha note” prompt that’s shown while the game loads. Once you press ‘A’, you are back at the main space station menu without any saves available. We kept restarting the game to see if it would work, but it wasn’t until he had the aforementioned thought that he came flying in. I had been playing kitties before the co-op tries, and my rover was there. Not sure if it despawned due to the glitches that we fought to get on the same map? Either way just wanted to give a bug report for each situation. Sorry it’s so long, but didn’t know any other way to explain the sequence of issues.

    Error: Failed to join.

    So today I bought astroneer and fell in love with the game. Its a marvelous and cute explore game and I wanted a friend of mine to play. So we both joined while at his house with no problem. When I left though, I got on my xbox to join up with him and we both recieved Error failed to join host. I have tried port forwarding and reseting routers and consoles. My NAT is open and his is moderate but we just can't make it work. Please help.
  8. Hello people! Me and my friend have some trouble to play togheter.. Simply we can’t join our worlds, the load screen says every time “Failed to connect... “. We have tried every possible solutions like joining the party while we are on the main screen, restart the console, restart the router, nothing have worked.. we can’t play togheter. how can I solve this problem? We have bought the game principally for the co-op, now we’re so disappointed for this..

  10. Hello, My friend and i where starting a game he joined me everything whas fine. When he logged out and tried to join back in with my invite on steam, he gets the error message ''failed to connect to host''.
  11. When I join my friends solar system and go to other planets with them I can't see any of the structures that have been built there. We all play on the same WiFi and we are all tethered in. We are all playing through steam on PC's
  12. It seems like every time I host a game on Xbox, my framerate tanks over time, but the clients' framerate has no issues. Has this been documented?
  13. Co-op game. Steam. V119 Reproducible. As a client of my friends game, I initiate research I can see the holo-roulette play out No new research display/pop-up. Instead the host confirms via voice chat Possible alt issue: New research from separate planet (me/client) to home planet (host) did not return new research (no pop-up shown). didn't check if new research had occurred (was late). Have not reproduced.

    FPS Issue for host

    I am running into an issue with framerate while hosting, i have two people playing and after a while my FPS drops to about 9 FPS Here are my specs CPU: Intel Core i7 4770K at 3.5GHz GPU: EVGA Geforce GTX 1080 FTW 8GB RAM: 32GB Hyper X Fury @ 1866 MHz OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit now here is where im thinking an issue lies, they both have the game installed on an SSD, i do not and im going to test that to see if its a system paging issue on mechanical drives, they aren't having an issue.

    Multiplayer - can't join

    Hello there, from the 108 we got a problem about joining a match. join by invitation, or via Stem friends list, left click -> Join the game start, load as usual, but instead load the main menù show this picture for half second and then get back to the load screen. The cursor take the default windows form (instead to be a dot)

When i start a new game everything runs fine on 60FPS with a little dips when something pops-in. now i have notice that the more place you have been through the lower FPS that save will be. in the first area, just around the first landing point, the FPS is fine. Then, as i go further and further from the base the Framerate starts droping 55, 50, 42, 30, 20. and it won't ever come back to 60FPS for that save. Quiting the game and load that save game will get the same FPS when you leave. I"ve tried looking around for solution and found that someone said about too many tether. i've only place like 100 - 200 Tethers on different planets. So i went and remove all of them. (they disappeared when i Shift+click to pick up). but the FPS still sitting at 20. so i don't think that is the case. Someone (in chat) mention that Minecraft used to have this problem but already got it fixed. I never play minecraft or follow any minecraft news so idk. but maybe it is the same case?. i do not have any other performance issue than this. really love the game and would like to play further but average 20fps starts causing frustrations. i hope we find to solution to this soon. PS: i still got many bugs that other has already posted. let's hope those get squished too.

While attempting to play multiple Co-Op games with a friend on Xbox One, after loading into the game the host would only be able to craft one item and then after returning to the backpack- would no longer be able to use the cursor to select anything in the backpack. Note the player can also see the cursor is behind/detached from the backpack. At this point the host can only pick up tethers and place them, while the client can do everything except place tethers that connect(host has to pick them up and place them again for them to connect). The issue occurred every time we successfully joined a game and occurred with both players as a host in multiple new games. My first guess would be my better internet was not playing nice with his. I did not see anything about this issue when searching the forum. If this hasn't been addressed or if you need more info i will gladly attempt a repro and get a screenshot/video with steps to reproduce asap. Oh and another note, I have not tried coop with anyone else yet. Thanks! Jake
  18. My question is... Do i need a good PC to host a multiplayer, because a read that i need a good one, is that true ?
