Ok Astroneers I'm missing something here but don't know what? Been playing a few days and can't find Wolframite for Tungsten or Hematite for Iron which after I checked the Wiki aren't found on your main planet Terran but how can you get off your world to the other planets if you can't make a: Chemistry Lab(Wolframite) Atmospheric Condenser(Plastic, Hematite) Trade Platform(Hematite, Wolframite) Every of equipment you need to get off the planet is literally off the planet!? It's a catch 22... So I guess I'm missing something? Is it Discoveries? Will I find Wolframite and Hematite in a crashed ship? Pleae Help! Frag 😧
So before anything goes wrong, i would like to precise that i do not own the 3D model pictured as a teleporter and that i am aware this has already been suggested. This is just a suggestion to the already suggested teleporter. So as Wyvyrias should know, i am very passionated with the hematite and want to give it a use, also i would love to see a teleport system implented in-game. So i mixed both : 1. Hematite would be refinable into iron as it is said in the game already 2. Iron would be used to teleportation, or, to be more precise, necessary. Let me explain, to work, the teleporter would need battery AND liquefied iron as fuel. Therefore, i imagined that one iron liquefied would fuel a tank on the teleporter which would act as the shuttle or spaceship fuel tank and lower when you use it. /Image 1&2/ 3. Now, hematite isn't that common, so i thought that one liquefied iron would equal 2 or 3 teleportations. 4. Iron would look like aluminium and copper but shiny silver look (please don't make it look as close as them that we would not be sure which one is which) and liquefied iron in the tank silver hemazine. Sorry for my drawing which is really bad and if that's considered as already suggested.
Just an idea. I think it would be a cool add-on for the game that hematite would be used to create a new module that when placed, similar like a habitat, it would attach to the surface. This hematite module would require x amount of astronium to run and when running, it converts a certain radius around the module to convert itself into earth like land(basically reterraforming the planet to be more like earth). This is just a thought that came to me, seeing that hematite and astronium are basically end game resources. Makes sense to end the game with terraforming Terran (an earth like planet) into a planet that would be able to sustain earth like qualities. This would add a new aspect and beauty to the game, but I could also see this putting stress on the game save. Still an idea that should be looked at. Tell me what you guys think.
