  1. Well, i think that the "most difficult planets" (glacio = hard, atrox = very hard) are not that hard really, so i think that a good idea would be add 2 different suits for each of those planets, for glacio the Heat Suit (or Anti-Freeze Suit or something like that) to avoid the cold that could kill you slowly, but it will kill you, and the Radio-Hazard Suit for atrox, to avoid a very strong radiation in the surface of the planet, this radiation without a suit could kill you quickly. I don't know if this is a requested post but i'd like to add that for more difficulty because you can't really
  2. I was digging a hole on Desolo and heard a gasser. I did not want to progress fearing that I would open a path for it. I have reached the tougher grey soil layer. If I continue to dig down, is it possible that I would run into a cave? Are there no caves below this layer?
  3. Hi, i draw a chart about the planets in excel. its bases on the astroneer wiki. what are your experiences with the planets and the recources about them? are these chart information correct?
  4. Hey guys! So this is my first time posting on the forum - I'm absolutely in love with the game, and since it's so early in development I thought I'd share a few ideas of what I think would really add to the whole experience NB I've attached some pics to illustrate my ideas. The simpler drawings are my own, but the rest are all taken from google images. BACKGROUND: Molten planets, also called lava planets, are a hypothetical kind of terrestrial planet with a molten surface covered mostly by lava (Fig.1). These could be young freshly formed planets which have yet to cool down a
  5. Hey guys, here I'm gonna talk about a few ideas on potential storms and other atmospheric events, as well as possible modules to combat them! I know that some of these have already been discussed at length, but I wanted to collect these concepts together and add some of my own ideas on the matter GEOMAGNETIC STORMS (SOLAR FLARES): Solar flare events would be relatively rare overall, however their effects can be felt on all the planets at varying degrees, perhaps according to their distance from the sun. When they do occur however, they would be one of the most dangerous of the
  6. Maybe there could be a planet type that had a much more hostile surface environment, but with greater rewards for scavenging on it - there could be minerals normally only available underground available on the surface? There could be sulphurous gas clouds which the user needs to avoid, and maybe volcanoes that could erupt, spreading lava? The lava would not need to flow quickly so it would not require a straining liquid simulation. Having hazardous lava flows and pools would add more challenge to navigating the environment, and having a higher amount of rewards could make this sort of planet g
