I would like to suggest some changes to the way vehicles handle in the game. I think a core issue with the vehicles is that they are too light and has almost no suspension. I find myself bouncing and getting stuck on the smallest of obstacles all the time, messing up the road i'm making or requires me to get off the vehicle and dig it out. I think it would be possible to fix this by making the vehicles overall heavier and and adding a suspension to it. In addition to this i think we also need more clearance from the ground to the vehicle. It may be easiest to make the hitbox on the underbelly of the vehicle smaller. And it would be nice to have a compass while driving What do you guys think about how the vehicles handle?
Ok, here's the issue: After the excavation update, the game is nice and all, but the driving, OMG, it's bad, it changes direction based on camera, and sometimes this leads to annoying driving issues, like the rover going to the oposite direciton I want, or trying to go to a hole or simply spinning out of control. Not only this, but the rover, even the larger one feels like driving a balloon, imprecise and very floaty(ish), even more when you attach another one on the back, it's very annoying, the game is very fun, until you have to deal with driving... what is a shame, because before this (let's call) tier, it's very fun, but using ANY rover is annoying. I think by using normal fixed direction on control, W= forward, S= Backwards, and so on should fix one of the issues, the other should be a little more wheigth and stability. (I'm sorry for the typing mistakes -.-')
Hello First time excuse for my bad English, but English is not my mother language. Therefore, I will also write "tabular", which is my issue. Compass: I think it would be very helpful to have a compass when using a vehicle. For always getting off to find out in which direction one goes, is nevertheless quite annoying. (Maybe as a band at the top of the screen, as with so many other games.) Compass extension: It would be very helpful for orientation if the compass show POIs as a colored dot, so you know in which direction you must go. Because the previous markings can be seen very quickly simply no longer and then proceeds very easily. Since you can probably have very many POIs, it would probably be very useful if there could be a window where you can set which POIs you want to display in the compass. Tether: When you collect tethers back into the backpack, they always go to the first position, no matter whether there is a stack that is not full yet, or not. a new stack is always created. These can not be combined by hand unfortunately. Here it would be advisable to check the contents of the backpack, if there is not already a tether stack and fill this! Items in hand: I think it would be great if you could rotate objects you have in your hand. So I take the store here. If I have this in my hand, I do not see what on the backside.
