  1. This use to be possible in the prelaunch, but while having extenders on your backpack, when you hit a cable plug and didn't connect it to another object, it dropped a power extender and connected it to that.

    Ultimate Tundra Base

Since I first became an Astroneer, (back when the Medium Printer was a big ugly mess) I had plans for and started work on an Ultimate Tundra Base. I have never deleted the savegame yet and have made great progress on it. As the updates came, I thought I would have several years before 1.0 but I was wrong. The upcoming debut has rushed me to make it sooner than expected but I have thankfully been able to create it in time. Now, I can share it with the forum. Here is a compilation of screenshots taken during its construction. As always, please let me know what you think. I ended up removing the Large Platform A with the Medium Solar and Medium Wind Turbine because it doesn't look right there. Please give your thoughts concerning the power system and overall setup of the base. My power setup: 2 Small Battery, 2 Medium Battery, 15 Small Solar, 16 Small Wind Turbine

    Stackable

After a tether/extender is placed, they won't always stack properly. A new stack is often made. This doesn't happen often but it is fairly annoying.
  5. So right now when placing extenders and tethers, you have to place them just right in order to get the maximum range out of them, and this is a bit finicky. Wouldn't it be an idea to let extenders and tethers "snap" to the maximum range when you're going past it. So that when your mouse, holding the extender or tether, is past the max range, the extender or tether doesn't disappear, but stays in place at max range, and won't disappear until you're further out of range.
  6. you just need to loop the power and then disconnect it from the power
  7. When I connect an extender to a platform for power it works perfectly, but if done the other way around it will not work as it will not pass through the power. This is an issue with both large and medium platforms. See attached images for example. On PC using keyboard, on latest steam version 0.6.1.0 --Connected from platform first. -Connected from extender first - From platform first but platform has power -Connected from platform fist (no power pass-through)
