    Multi-Monitor Mouse Issues...

    I have a multi-monitor system, that is there are three (3) monitors (#1 2560 w x 1440 h, #2 & #3 1080 w x 1920 h) connected to my Windows system and Windows is set to extended mode so it sees them as one contiguous monitor (4720 w x 1922 h) set in a [2][1][3] arrangement . The problem is that, when playing your game full screen, the mouse IS NOT constrained to the game window that is being displayed full screen on the main/center monitor (#1 2560 w x 1440 h) and can move off of that monitor onto either of the two (2) side monitors. If this happens and a mouse button is clicked, whatever is under the mouse at that time becomes the 'Active Window' or application which jumps me out of your game and/or breaks, disrupts, and/or interferes the current action I'm performing in game (e.g. Terra forming). Sometime s when this happens the Terra forming tool locks into whatever state it is in, even after the mouse button is released, and just keeps on Terra forming. Very irritating! As a Unity3D Indie developer I know that it is possible to lock the mouse cursor within the game window so that this issue does not occur. I also see allot of hits in Google concerning this issue with Unreal Engine 4 (UE4) game development. Though I have no experience with UE4 development it appears that this is something you can and should implement within your game. ThanX - DJ
  2. Hi, since Update 0.9.0 I do not see any pictures in the research catalogue. But at least I was able to read the name of the researchable schematic and was able to guess flip through it. I have no idea, how the behaviour was in 0.8.0, since I did not play Astroneer for about a year. Since tonight I do not see anything in the research catalogue anymore. Neither schematics nor the amount of researched bytes. The only update I found in the files was NVidia graphics related (Engine/Binaries/ThirdParty/NVIDIA/NVaftermath/Win64/GFSDK_Aftermath_Lib.dll, dating from tonight 0:04). Unfortunately steam does not keep an list of carried out updates. Also the game loads longer then yesterday and is very sluggish in its reponse. After having taken the screenshot using Steam's F12, the name of the schematic and the researched bytes reappear. My configuration: Windows 10 pro - 1803 17134.165 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4710MQ CPU @ 2.50GHz 2.50GHz 16 GB Ram 8 GB swap file DirectX 12 Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 (it is a notebook) Graphics RAM 2160 MB Anyone got an idea how to avoid taking F12 screen shots to see the schematics and how to make the response of the game better?

I love adams new oxygen designs but I think it's now too downplayed and I dont have the same urgency as I did before when I was suffocating I think a simple red and black blinking light coming from the oxygen tube thing would be a great reminder maybe even have a countdown from 15 when you suffocate to show you how much time you have until you die I like symbols but players need a better telegraph on how they die from oxygen, also making the oxygen tube more a display could allow for some really interesting art in the future around oxygen
  4. I have 3 beacons on Terran, 2 beacons and my home. There has been a number of times that I have seen these 3 beacons from Barren when exploring, without seeing a planet at all. One such instance I caught on video at the video below. I've also attached an image. Steam version, 0.8.0, single player, Windows 10.

I have tried all the options in settings and none make any appreciable difference Is there something not right on my machine - the game seems to play OK, I just can't see very well what I am playing. I do see a difference between day and night, it changes the hue but does nothing for clarity.

Summary: 199 - Steam - Terrain Analyzer Augment display isn't working properly Description: All my Terrain Analyzer Augments aren't showing the terrain colour I have analyzed (to completion) and show a black bar instead of a coloured one as they did before. I think this only happened after I loaded a save, because I remember seeing the bar fill up and showing the correct colours! Here is a picture showing two of these augments in my backpack, both work properly when I paint the terrain (one in blue and one in orange, respectively) but as you can see the bars show up black, either sitting in my backpack or attached to the tool.   7. As provided in the screenshot, there are some problems on rendering the menu. I guess its kind of static, or not optimized for all resolutions. Or maybe there is a breakpoint on a given resolution. (NVIDEA GTX 1070; Driver 385.31) (Two monitors plugged in. Gamescreen: 1920x1080, second Screen: 1600x1200) (Windows 10 Build: 15063.540)

  9. An area east of my base, that previously displayed ground clutter and resource nodes like Malachite and Laterite, is no longer displaying these things. It's all just bare earth, including the first part of a cave entrance. I've attached images and the save files for further investigation.   10. The game works fine with a screen ratio of 21:9. But in the main menu the player selection isn't fully displayed. I would be glad if you could fix that ^^
  11. Sometimes when I log back in my items attached to my back pack appear disconnected and a little distance from the back pack. Taking them off and putting them back on corrects the issue. http://screencast.com/t/9Xf3n6BfXugb

    [Idea] Save file selection

    Currently save files are shown as blue outlines of drop ships, they have the time and date they were last played. It is a simple and rather neat idea (I like it) but there are a few short comings. - If more than one person is playing on the same computer it gets very confusing which files belong to who. [possible solution] Allow players to chose a customizable emblem when starting a game, the icon can be displayed on the door of the save files drop ship, making different saves immediately identifiable. Also list total play time under stenciled in on bottom edge of the drop ship. - I do not see a way to delete saved games. [solution] Add option to delete games and copy saves
  13. I like to run as many games as possible in surround because of the immersion factor. As soon as the game launched and I got into my first world, I noticed the camera angles cut the bottom half of the screen out. As in I couldn't even see the feet of my little astronaut. I disabled surround and re-launched, and got the full camera angle. please add better support for surround because the game looks absolutely amazing in surround but is un-playable.
  14. Hello, here is the info you asked for: Mouse/keyboard Steam (PC) Save a game in windowed mode (screen filled). Restore game with display set to fullscreen. Some scales and relations of objects are way off, e.g. the backpack appears too large and the items in it appear to hover over it some distance away. Hit boxes are off too, you cannot place anything in the backpack then. Saving and restarting without changing display settings works around the problem. I play on a laptop, this might also be related. First run was in windowed mode on the laptop display, second run at home on my monitor. Sorry, forgot screenies, will remember it next time.
