  1. I have a multi-monitor system, that is there are three (3) monitors (#1 2560 w x 1440 h, #2 & #3 1080 w x 1920 h) connected to my Windows system and Windows is set to extended mode so it sees them as one contiguous monitor (4720 w x 1922 h) set in a [2][1][3] arrangement . The problem is that, when playing your game full screen, the mouse IS NOT constrained to the game window that is being displayed full screen on the main/center monitor (#1 2560 w x 1440 h) and can move off of that monitor onto either of the two (2) side monitors. If this happens and a mouse button is clicked, whatever is under the mouse at that time becomes the 'Active Window' or application which jumps me out of your game and/or breaks, disrupts, and/or interferes the current action I'm performing in game (e.g. Terra forming). Sometime s when this happens the Terra forming tool locks into whatever state it is in, even after the mouse button is released, and just keeps on Terra forming. Very irritating! As a Unity3D Indie developer I know that it is possible to lock the mouse cursor within the game window so that this issue does not occur. I also see allot of hits in Google concerning this issue with Unreal Engine 4 (UE4) game development. Though I have no experience with UE4 development it appears that this is something you can and should implement within your game. ThanX - DJ
  2. Using mouse & keyboard on Windows 10 (XBOX app) and the mouse no longer locks to the game window during play. The mouse moves the camera on movement after loading into the save, but can be stopped by just right clicking once. In addition the windows cursor does not hide, and the in game cursors do not show up on backpack/in-game screens. Started playing on Creative update without this issue, which started after winter update. Alt+Enter, window / window-full screen setting does fix issue. Tried re-installing game, re-installing XBOX app. Tried modifying the game settings ini for forcing the full screen settings to 0 instead of 1. Unplugged down to one monitor, reboot, etc also does not fix issue. Confirmed I do not have any controllers connected. Happens on old save and starting new saves as well.
  3. Summary: 1.7.62.0 - Windows 10 Store - Windows Desktop Cursor replacing In-Game Cursor Description: After an update that came through today, the windows desktop cursor has replaced my in-game cursor. It used to be a little white dot but now it is the pointer that you get when using a Windows computer. I am playing on the Windows Store version and the same thing happened to my girlfriend's game too when she updated on the Windows Store. I downloaded and ran the game on my laptop and the cursor has been replaced on that computer as well. It looks like a pretty consistent bug with the new update. Platform: Windows 10 Store Version / Build Number: 1.7.62.0 Specifications: My Desktop OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 | v. 1909 | Build 18363.476 CPU: Intel i7 9700k 4.8 Hz GPU: RTX 2070 Super RAM: 16 GB Drive: Samsung 970 Evo 500GB Girlfriend's Desktop OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 | v. 1909 | Build 18363.476 CPU: Intel i7 6600k 4.0 Hz GPU: RTX 2060 RAM: 16 GB Drive: 256 GB SSD My Laptop (I have to double check this one) OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 | v. 1909 | Build 18363.476 CPU: Intel i5 GPU: Nvidia 200M RAM: 16 GB Drive: 256 GB SSD

  5. On Xbox, currently the speed at which you are able to move the cursor without putting it over an object is comfortably slow. However, when to move the cursor over objects, the speed is dramatically reduced. So reduced that moving items from one storage type to another is painfully slow. This makes organizing a frustrating & time consuming chore, when it should be quick & painless. This could be accomplished by setting the cursor speed to be a consistent one. Additionally, it would be nice to not have a jumbo cursor on Xbox. While this does not impede the gameplay in any way, it would be a nice qol change to see it be the same or similar to the cursor on pc. Please consider making these changes, or at the very least the change to the cursor's speed. If any of my fellow Xbox players agree, please comment +1 to show your support of this idea. Thank you
  6. Hey guy so i will tell you step by step on how to customize your in-game cursor. It is really simple 1)Download this Cursor editor.(http://www.rw-designer.com/cursor-maker) 2)Choose a picture or logo.[choose any logo or picture as long as it is a png file(the file with checkered pattern in the background)] 3)Make the photo 16x16 pixels in photoshop(just make a new file and set presets to 16x16 'pixels' and transparent background) 4)Open the program and in the program open your photo file. 5)On the top you will see a 'Create" tab click on it and select create mouse cursor. 6)now you will see your logo in front of a checkered background. 7)on top you will see a plus sign.when you hover your mouse over it,it will say hot spot. 8)click on it and then click on the center of your logo. 9)what that does is make it so that the center of your logo is where you will click things with. 10)Now save your photo.and it will be saved as a .cur file (cursor) 11)Next open C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ASTRONEER Early Access\Engine\Content\Editor\Slate\Cursor in your astroneer folder 12)remove the two files into another folder and then paste in your photo's png file AND the .cur file remember both of them. 13)re-name both of them to 'SmallDot' 14)the .cur file may change to the original white dot which was there before but don't worry it is a visual bug. 15)now open the game and voila your photo is now the cursor PLEASE REPLY IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS
  7. I have a multi monitor system and, when playing full screen on the main monitor, the mouse moves off the monitor onto the other monitors and looses focus on the game window when clicked. Please lock/constrain the mouse to the game window only.
  8. Summary: 200 - Steam - Truck Glitched Into Terrain Description: Hard to explain this one, but I made a video. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-mZhjWpKsl_M3VRWm9qSXRpTFk Basically what happens is this: I'm on Arid planet, trying to use the terrain flatten tool to cover over some holes i made (health and safety was yelling at me for leaving them open and then falling into them repeatedly). But when I hold control for the flatten mode, then click and drag, the mouse moves smoothly along the ground in one axis, but then skips around on the other axis like its snapping to some kind of grid, leaving large gaps untouched in between. So far it's only happening on the Arid planet for me. The video I posted has the inhibitor mod equipped on the terrain tool, but the bug occurs both with and without mods attached. I just used it here so you could more easily see the snapping it's doing by showing it on an already-flat surface. As indicated in the video, movement is normal when using the raise and lower mode, only the flatten mode seems to skip around as you can see the mouse cursor move in a circle while the ground reticle only moves left to right smoothly but skips forward and backward by a large margin. Platform: Steam Version / Build Number: 200 Specifications: OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 | v. 1703 | Build 15063.540 CPU: Intel i7 2700K 3.5GHz GPU: GTX 970 4GB RAM: 12GB (3x 4GB DDR3 1066Hz) Drive: Seagate ST2000DM001 2TB SATA
  9. The Picture says it all. I checked all of the settings for graphics, im running the game on windows 10 at 1920*1080. Aaaaaand other then the tiny cursor, i did notice a lot more visual anomalies when it comes to multiplayer, nothing too serious other than my bud gently falling and popping up out of the floor.?
  10. Could you consider making the cursor change color to contrast the background color. With all the white equipment and a white light sources (or sunlight) its hard to keep track of it.

I hope you can fix it because it happens pretty much times. Sorry if i explain it bad I hope you understand it. 13. Hey all, I often lose my cursor in high-light areas and would like to suggest: A: Add an option invert the colors of the cursor. B: Add an option to change the colors of the cursor. For those that don't know what an inverted cursor is, a quick Google search should do the trick. Personally I would like to have an inverted cursor.
