  1. The reason I really want to suggest this is because when me and my friend play we like exploring. Although we find it hard to set up connecting bases of operations around a planet. We like going into caves, mining everything we can find. As well as gathering as much research as we can. The problem comes when we get full we either have to run all the way back to the base or if we have our rovers with us we try and get them out of the cave. (I don’t know about y'all but getting the rovers out can be a pain depending on how deep you are, and if you have a smooth path. and if you cave connect
  2. I've made a post like this before but I feel it deserves a better explanation. Down below the Module would consist of 4 Slots a 1 connector (to the Backpack). In the place The Jetpack is, is where this storage item would go. It Could cost 1 or 2 Nanocarbon Alloy to craft as to balance And it can only be used in those to slots. ~CreateTeen
  3. I have seen many requests for a space station and am one for the idea. I have made a simple sketch for one with Microsoft Paint. Astroneer Open Space Station Concept.bmp The side flaps have a landing pad on which Hydrazine can be placed to fuel Shuttles with the Hydrazine Thruster. The center part is tall and has a hatch with which one can save the game. Landing at it with the shuttle does not use fuel from either thruster. It is made in the Large Printer. When unpacked, it has launch thrusters equipped. They burn up once the station is in orbit. Space Station Crate
  4. This is an updated concept to my old one. The reason I really want to suggest this is because when me and my friend play we like exploring. 5. Something that is incredibly annoying in Astroneer is how big and awkward the vehicles are. If you have two bases that are separated by a hilly terrain, then you have to use a rover or a truck to traverse between them quickly, and the hills will cause them to flip. This gave me the idea of the Quad Bike! The Quad Bike would move as fast as a rover, but would be much smaller. It could fit one Astroneer and would have one small attachment point, meant for power. It would store 8 bars (32 units) of power internally, and would use 1 unit of power every 2 seconds. It would have no heavy cable attac
  6. I think this would be an interesting idea that would not only allow players to expand down on the planets, but in space as well. This station would have 8 individual parts that would be found in 8 different research cubes, and would cost a mix between astronuim and aluminum to make. This station would have multiple uses: 1. To act as a stopping or refuel point for your ships (minor idea) 2. Project a map of the multiple planets' surfaces that you could use to track storms and maybe other natural disasters if any more come in the future 3. Allow discovery of new planets or solar
  7. As you progress through this game, it can start to feel a bit easy. Sure, this is true for all games, but this game isn't "all games". The addition of more and harsher natural disasters as you move to more distant planets would be an excellent idea, and would provide a bigger challenge to more advanced players, and starters alike. One of my main ideas of a new disaster was the meteor storm, this event would send meteors crashing down from the sky, but the chances for them to fall on your base would be extremely slim. These meteors would carry rescources found commonly in other planets (l
