Hi, just looking for a bit of support with getting better framerates while in game. Currently averaging around 30-40fps which is fine for solo but when a friend wants to join frames on my end drop significantly to highs of 10 or 12. Had a few system lock-ups. Tried some of the YouTube tutorials on changing settings in files but didn't help, tried changing graphics adapter options in my NVidia control panel, no help. Is it possible to run a dedicated Peer-to-Peer server from another machine (without opening ports) in the mean time, or without buying the game on an alt and running it from another PC. Rig: - AMD FX-4300 3.8GHz (4-Core, 4-Threads) - GTX 1070Ti 8GB - 16GB DDR3 1066MHz - Astroneer running from a SATA HDD. - 2560x1440 Resolution. Many Thanks to anyone who see's this!
Hello, I'm so glad I finally bought ASTRONEER and supported this developers by doing that. Now thing is, I'm having like these constand frame drops while playing, from the beginning while I arrived at the planet with my pod they began dropping. I optimized all settings (even with nvidea inspector) to performance. I've not build much in the world or gone exploring far. They aren't really "frame drops" because the game constantly plays at 60fps even when this lags are occuring. Is this a bug? Cuz my laptop can run bigger games. Is a video needed? Thnx! Seppe
Dear, System Era Hi I love this game and i also play ASTRONEER like any of you guys, but i think i'm the only one that plays the game in slow motion. I MEAN IT! It's so hard to just venture and explore the universe..(gasp) I want to ask you System Era i'm looking at U! How do i make the game much more of an experience to explore the world (I meant how to make the FPS better? I already tried everything i know from changing the engine.ini and game.ini and all of that!)? And can you (System Era) make the games graphics more adjustable or something to help me? PLEEAASSSS.....! I use this kind of laptop: Operating System: Windows 8.1 64-bit (6.3, Build 8600) System Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard System Model: HP Pavillion 17 Notebook PC BIOS: F.35 Processor: AMD A8-5550M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics (4 CPUs), ~2.1GHz Memory: 16384MB RAM AMD Radeon HD 8550G Chip Type: AMD Radeon Graphics Processor (0x990D) DAC Type: Internal DAC(400MHz) Device Type: Full Display Device Total Memory: 4575 MB Display Mode: 1600 x 900 (32 bit ) (60Hz) PS: PLS MAKE THE FPS BEETTEEEEEEEEEER. Bye and thanks if u read this System Era.
I was gonna go into options and check the graphics options as I hadn't played for a while. As soon as I press options (in a save or in the menu) my FPS goes from its usual smooth 60FPS (good job on that front guys, like smooth FPS) to about 2 FPS. In the menu I go down to 20 or less FPS. Tested several times, it's 10/10 times it does this. Closing the options menu doesn't help, it gets stuck on bad FPS.
