  1. To iterate upon the idea presented in the title, the method for activating the overclock would be to hold the F key instead of pressing it. This suggestion is borne of my preferred method for mid-game resource extraction, which is to take a large shuttle with one auto extractor, an auto arm, a medium platform, and a large storage silo, with power sources, packagers, and resource canisters on the storage silo. With this method, a surplus of power via wind and sun is often present, and it would be pleasant to have the option to consume this excess power to boost the output of the single extractor. Having the overclock power cost as high as suggested is intended as a balancing mechanism, as there should still be a benefit to having more extractors running; it would simply be pleasing to have an application for this excess passive power output. Anyhow, thank you for your time, and have a great day.
  2. If its on and then you unplug it and put it in your Large Rover it will suck power from your rover and not let you turn it off
  3. Summary: Auto Extractor yielding resource stacks of a type that is not present. Description: Auto Extractor had been set up at Site A, yielding ammonium. That job completed. The extractor was packaged and moved into storage at base. Later that packaged extractor was move to Site B, unpackaged and set up on a deposit of pure graphite. It yielded stacks of ammonium, even though zero ammonium is present there. 5. I set up an auto extractor with a medium resource can on a malachite deposit then went to Calidor. When I returned 2 malachite were stuck on the extractor output at the same time and the can was empty. I moved the malachite to the can but it still didn't work. Even disconnecting from power and moving the extractor doesn't work. Read on Reddit that packing and unpacking the extractor fixes the problem, but haven't tried yet.
  6. Summary: The button repeater does not toggle the input/output state of a medium resource canister when the button repeater is also connected to an auto extractor. Description: Test setup: 1. Place a medium resource canister atop an auto extractor. 2. Attach a storage sensor to the medium resource canister and set it to “full or empty”. 3. Connect the storage sensor to a button repeater. 4. Create a branch point for the button repeater. 5. Attach a branch from the button repeater to the medium resource canister. Attach a branch from the button repeater to the auto extractor. 6. Turn on the auto extractor and wait for it to fill up the medium resource canister. Expected Result: When the resource canister is full, its state should be toggled from input to output. Actual result: The resource canister’s state remains unchanged. It does not toggle to output. Notes: When the resource canister becomes full, the button repeater does indeed send a signal to the resource canister as is evident in the signal animation. However, no actual state change occurs. The button repeater correctly turns off the auto extractor. If you do not attach a button repeater branch to the auto extractor in step 5 and instead manually fill the resource canister, the button repeater does correctly toggle the state of the canister from input to output. In the following video link, I first show the correct expected behavior by not including the auto extractor in the experiment. In the second part of the video, I include the auto extractor and demonstrate that the test then fails. 7. As stated, if I place Auto extractor on a large rover with 2 RTGs, the rover starts to deplete its battery in motion as if Auto extractor was using all the energy from the RTGs, which makes such config useless. I either have to package the Auto extractor or drive a little, remove it from the rover, let it charge and drive a little more.
  8. 9. I have been able to replicate this crash multiple times. repackaging an auto extractor placing it on a large rover with a paver, tier 2 drill, and a single seat then entering the seat will cause the game to crash. here is the error from one of the crash reports INVALID_POINTER_READ_c0000005_Astro-Win64-Shipping.exe!TetherNetworkSingleton::operator=
