Currently doing the "Automated Mass Production Protocol" event. Loading aluminium on the Exo Request platform tells me that 1 bar is worth 1 point towards the total of 240 points for the corresponding stage of the event. This can't be correct, right? 240 bars of aluminium is devastating to collect on a 1.0-era save file. I shudder at the idea that the third stage of the event (aluminium alloy, 240 points required) will be the same. The only thing worse than having to produce 240 stacks of aluminium alloy would be having to produce 240 stacks of nanocarbon alloy. Oh yes, and slow painful death too. But at least the latter occurs only once in a lifetime. These bars just have to yield more points.

So basicly i came back from exotic where i got some iron and when i tried to smelt it, what came out was just some ordinary aluminium! Can somebody help me? Only one of the hematite actually turned into iron. The rest turned into aluminium,
