  1. Leaving the area while centrifuge is still spinning, and there are no slots to deposit finished resources, the centrifuge will become stuck (unusable) with finished resources facing down, not popped up to manually grab. Save/Reload doesn't help it. Possibly [AS-6705] or [AS-7785] affected this. Screenshot attached shows this happened with a second centrifuge I built to replace the stuck first one.
  2. Summary: Steam build Aug 12 2019 - Sylvan - Firework Delivery Airbags Continuous Spawning in-game Description: On Sylvan planet. Discovered delivery airbags with fireworks spawning in-game. Usually these are three static objects. Now there are more than 11 and they exhibit active spawning. I can watch them glitch into existence with new fireworks. Game lags at this point but traveling out of the area the game will return to normal performance. 3. Mouse/keyboard? Controller? Mouse and keyboard Steam? Xbox? Steam What were you doing leading up to this bug? The co-op work on and off. Sometime it let me right in other times it'll sat 'failed to connect to host' and other time it will just randomly kick me from a current co-op session i'm in with a friend. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps i can think of: firewall settings on both computers, restarting computers, uninstalling and reinstalling, verifying games files through steam, deleting player data, joining through steam friends list. At this point it's stopped letting me join all together and i can't find anything more to do about it online. Any steps that we can take to reproduce the bug on our end is appreciated. be on two separate networks 🤷‍♂️
  4. Hello, Please add the commercial license for Vortex: The Gateway in the steam. In addition to opening the ability to more game sales, offering access to your games through commercial sites like Cafés can be a great way to expand the visibility of your games, drive up player numbers, and build word of mouth on your titles. There is the program in the steam https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/sitelicense/publisher We want to purchase your games for our customers, as we are now buying other games, but now it is impossible. It is not difficult. Other developers added commercial licenses in a few hours. We hope for a positive decision. The program will give you the opportunity for additional sales. Our customers who can't buy your games are waiting for them in our cafes.

    Steam and Xbox Crossplay

I bought this game along with another, I found out they both featured PC - Xbox crossplay, I was very happy as 2 of my friends had Astroneer and 1 had the other (ARK), when researching how to do crossplay I discovered I needed the windows store version, is there any chance Steam crossplay will be a thing soon? No way am I spending another $100 just to play with my friends. Thanks, Someone on the Internet
  6. Summary Version: 1.3.11.0 - Platform: Steam - Description: Crashing about 10 mins into a new game (no tutorial) Description Don't really have one. As I'm going about gathering resources and doing research, everything just shuts down. There's no freezing, it's a complete application closure; much like what you get when you use task manager to close something. It's happened twice thus far. There doesn't appear to be a cause. Checked for a crash report and there's nothing in the logs folder.

Terrain tool pick up range bug

You can pick things up from far away by clicking on them with the terrain tool. I am on the steam version of the game. Terrain Tool Bug.mp4
  8. Summary: I left a multiplayer game my gf hosted while orbiting Vesania in a large shuttle. When I came back in, I respawned back in Sylva and have been unable to retrieve my shuttle since. I first encountered this bug in 1.0.13, but it is still present. Description: I was orbitting Vesania ready to land with a large shuttle, but I didn't have any landing options (a different bug). To try and remedy this, I left the game and rejoined. Unfortunately, I was respawned back in Sylva and had to make another shuttle to get back to Vesania, where my large shuttle was still in orbit, and now unmanned. I tried to make a slope that could go high enough to interact with the shuttle, hoping to just grab it and bring it back, but it doesn't allow me to grab it. My girlfriend and I had a lot of resources in that shuttle, and losing them has kept us from coming back to this game. We encountered this bug a little over a month ago in 1.0.13 just before 1.0.15 was released. However I just tried to retrieve the shuttle in 1.1 and it is still an issue. The Specs below are of the computer my girlfriend (the game host) was using when I played the game, and also the computer I used to test if the issue was still present in 1.1. I don't have the computer I was using at the time of incident nearby, but I can provide its specs if you guys deem it necessary to replicate. Platform: Steam / XBox One / Windows 10 Store Version / Build Number: 1.1 Specifications: OS: Windows 10 CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700 Eight-Core Processor GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 RAM: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 16 GB DDR4-3200 Drive: Samsung - 960 EVO 500 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive
  9. OK, so I lost it last night after spending an additional four hours on an existing game, closing the game after entering a habitat, only to come back a few minutes later and find my last dated save was four hours earlier... Now I've discovered why. It's a nasty bug occurring on the Windows 10 Store release; I have the game on Steam as a native purchase (last December) and have not been able to replicate it on that platform. Here's how to reproduce on W10 Store release... 1) Start a game 2) Invest many hours into a game. Many. This is only to expand your game's data file using nuggets, terraforming data etc 3) When your savegame reaches a filesize of 16MB (found under %localappdata%\Packages\SystemEraSoftworks_***\SystemAppData\wgs\***GUID***\***GUID***\) it will no longer commit to disk, and after initialising a save ingame (by entering a Hab or seat) a new save with the current date and time should appear in the directory with a new GUID, replacing the old one. This seeming hardcoded limit is absolute. I had a hunch it was a magical number and started doing incremental saves to approach the point of issue... 16,777,216 bytes. --- I'm not sure if my LiveID is tied to the savegame file but I've attached it peradventure it assists with resolution. Whether this is a Microsoft platform limitation for cloud saves remains to be seen but it has certainly driven my current game into a wall. This one attached is just shy of the limit and will save correctly if all you do is re-enter the hab. Else, mine a whole bunch of Organic or something and then retry. container.129 D41368F261DC4BFDB131C576EDDF433B
  10. It's unclear if this was removed from the menu intentionally or if it's a bug, but since it's not in the summer update release notes and is materially impacting how I play the game I'm filing a bug report. Please restore the in-game saved game menu to what it was before the summer update.
  11. I am on the version 1.2, steam edition. I am on the planet Vesania and am harvesting lithium on a -45 degree slope. As I mine the resources they fall into the terrain and wont appear even if I attempt to uncover them with the terrain tool. I noticed that this doesn't occur if I am facing the opposite direction that I am mining as the resource wont fall into the terrain. I have also included a video clip. Any additional information required I would be happy to add. Astroneer bug 1.mp4
  12. I have an issue in my multiplayer games. After few minutes of exploring terrain me and my friend encounter synchronization problems, like: Invisible machines (small generator is invisible, but working) Different terrain generation in multiplayer game (I can find cave which will look like solid wall or floor to my friend, and when he try to pass through it, he dies from falling, even if cave isn't deep. It works the same way to me (host))
  13. I just recently got Game Pass PC and downloaded Astroneer. One of my friends already has the game through Steam. Is there a way we can play together? Thanks! Venddetta

    Cosmetics

Just a cosmetic suggestion, maybe add some steam and Xbox related suits, colors, and visors. And maybe like a factory 2fa cosmetic if you have that option here.
  15. Summary: 1.1.2.0 - Steam - Can't print Medium Platform B when Small Printer is on a platform Description: The last update changed the orientation that platforms are printed at (Longways away from the printer). The offset the Medium Platform B uses to set itself away from the edge of a platform is not large enough and you can NOT print a Medium Platform B when the small printer is on a platform itself (for most orientations)... the silhouette shows a collision. Workaround: The small printer must be placed on the ground in order to not have a collision. Platform: Steam (and likely XBox One & Windows 10 Store) Version / Build Number: 1.1.2.0 Specifications: OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 | v. 1803 | Build 17134.765 CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700X 3.90 GHz GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 O8GB RAM: Team T-Force DARK 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000) Drive: Samsung 960 EVO 500GB NVMe - M.2

    Modding-Feature!

Hey, what's about modding in Astroneer? It would be very nice. Maybe like in Cities: Skylines. So User can create new planets, ores, machines and other stuff. Sorry for my bad English.
  18. Hello, I can not get Astroneer to run/start past the System Era and UE logos. Program crashes with no errors in windows or steam. I am not having issues with any other games (Destiny 2, Apex Legends, Overwatch, Diablo 3 etc). So not sure where to go next with this as far as isolating the issue. Things I have tried: Reboot PC Update nvidia drivers to latest version (418.81) as of 2/6/2019 Verify integrity of files via steam. (no issues found) Reboot Modem and router and PC simultaneously Uninstall, delete Astroneer directory and redownload Astroneer Could not find any errors in windows event log viewer System information: Windows 10 Professional Version 10.0.17134 Build 17134 Asus ROG strix Z370-E gaming mainboard Intel 7 8700 3.2Ghz CPU 16 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3000 (Dual Channel) Samsung Evo 970 500GB SSD M.2 Hard drive Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB Hard drive EVGA GTX 1060 6GB SSC GPU EVGA NEX 750 Watt SuperNova Gold Rated Dell S2716DG GSYNK 2k 144Hz monitor SystemInformation.txt DMPfiles.zip DxDiag.txt
  19. This may be already a plan for dedicated servers but if not why not put the option to set a spawn point of course you would need a habitat to do that or generally just change the landing pad model to the starting landing pad model to do that this could help if for example a friend wants to play with you but then you have to basically spoil them if they are new about the "ya know what" in order for them to get to you if you are working on something in another planet.
  20. One thing that pique my interest in astroneer was the old storm system, it gave a sense of danger to a new player since they wouldn't know the games features that well however, after a few days you learn these features and the storms became a nuisance because they came so frequently and sometimes back to back. They got removed of course and I was happy until I realized that the storm system gave suspense to the early game and could potentially give more suspense even to a end game player at some points. Here's what I got so far Sylva/Vesania- wind storm -storm doesn't do direct damage to the player -make movement a bit hard -can move items that are not protected by the wind or arnt on platforms or connected -can move the astroneer if they arnt behind some object redirecting the wind (this can lead to falling of a ledge if you were farming soil and didnt do it somewhere safe and went careful) Desolo-falling rocks or meteor shower -since desolo has no atmosphere and is a rocky moon with craters this would make sense -would prefer it to not make object not protected into debris but that's up to you since it can also encourage players to make a underground base or a base with a roof -meteors do direct damage to the astroneer but wouldn't auto kill them -area of affect impact but not to huge -removes chunk of land but not by much on impact Calidor: dust storm/sand storm -why not bring back the original storm -flying rocks still appear -hard to walk -obscures visibility Novus- no storm -since I've seen some suggestions for animals in the game why not make novus populated with some hostile animals would make sense for a forested moon Glacio-snow storm or hail storm -Snow storm -Obscures visibility -makes astroneer very hard to maneuver because you are cold and some wind is in affect -hail storm -hail falls down causing damage to the astroneer if not protected -hail comes down fast and many come out making a roofed base or underground base a must Atrox- gas cloud -since Atrox has a chocked atmosphere with sulfur and methane being some of its components and it being known as a radiated planet it would be the perfect fit -huge cloud comes in making the air around you have a poison affect -roofed base will not protect you -any base not underground will need a habitat, preventing new players from just going to the planet without consequence -gas cloud is more frequent then the other planets storms in order to make it truly be the games hardest planet as of yet Please tell me what you guys think and I worked really hard on this. P.S: these storms will not happen as frequently as the alpha's storm, maybe for the gas cloud though.

    Steam workshop?

Soo i tried to look up if anyone has talked about adding a steam workshop possibility to this game i can see it working possible 2 ways i know some people may not like this idea but i think it would be kinda cool to see ideas flowing into this amazing game #1 open source modding for the game to let anyone and everyone to make items for the game to help players make their bases better or get interesting tools to make platforms faster or ramps for buggie races but allow people to download like item like wheels bases for trucks already in game kind of like lego worlds were you can spawn building then edit them to your hearts content #2 have open source modding BUT have the community vote on what should be added into the game like what warframe dose with its community
  22. Summary: Steam - Tractor and Self launched into space from core. Description: Multiplayer. Host was attempting to flip our tractor snake. I got off to help while he was trying to flip it, and it launched me up through the ground and into space instantly. He said the tractor vanished too and then he suffocated. I'll end up suffocating too. Tractor MIA. This wasn't caused by pressing enter twice when getting on. It was caused by exiting the vehicle while my co-op host was trying to flip it. 23. Summary: 1.0.13 - Steam - Atrox terrain not generating properly Description: Terrain on Atrox on some saves seem to generate wildly, creating porous caverns that dip down a hundred meters into toughness 3 rock, leaving floating chunks everywhere. the terrain is completely unnavagable by foot or rover. while it looks kind of cool, its extremely irritating and problematic for gameplay. I'm certain this is a bug in the terrain generation algorithm that may need to be fixed. also, this is NOT a graphical glitch, this terrain is exactly how it appears. note, the highest point of these floating chunks is supposed to be the surface. (pardon the compressed steam screenshots.) Platform: Steam Version / Build Number: 119 Specifications: OS: Windows 8.1 home x64 CPU: Intel i7 8700kK 4.9GHz GPU: Strix OC 1060 6gb RAM: Hyperx predator 2933, 4x8GB Drive: WD Black performance, 3TB.

  25. Hi there, i found out rather by accident, that when you have a winch connected to any rover, then link the winch back to any part of the same rover it creates physics bug and your rover starts to spin and tumble away, eventually spazzing so hard it flies off into space. I've only had this bug with rovers, and I've had it happen multiple times (always by misclicking with the winch) on a side note, it'd be really nice if the devs would add a function so pressing "f" while holding the winch would disconnect it...would prevent a lot of this in the first place. would also be really nice if the winch could self anchor like the small solar or work light. It should be very easy to replicate this bug, so i didn't both to do it again and take a screen shot. (i was too preoccupied trying to get my rovers back to think of it the last times it happened) I'm on PC, all settings max 8700k, 1060 6gb, 32gb ram, windows 8.1
