    Unkown item found and Glitch

I was playing Astroneer and found an unkown black and white swirled ball that emits light from it but when i tried to research it nothing on the Research Chamber computer came up to research it and then when i took it off the platform and moved it, the ball glitched out my storage unit which had natural resources stored and the container fell through the ground and disappeared and when i left the game the load time takes longer then usual. Chemistry Lab Bug

The bug happened when I tried viewing the panel when it was making a rubber resource and wouldn't continue or fix itself after waiting a short amount of time and also wouldn't work after reloading the game.

    Seat glitch

If you get in a seat at the same time as picking it up you will be able to carry the chair, causing issues in the game and it is a glitch that can be exploited to make the game easier and to travel faster than what was intended. I do not have any proof by you can test it yourself if you don't believe me.

You can jump out and see that the haze is gone.

I moved the seat to the bottom on the other side and added a large shredder where the seat and medium solar were
  6. I Play Astroneer on my laptop and it's within the system specs limit as described on Steam. For some reason, my game is still very framey/laggy, but playable (i am using the dedicated AMD graphics instead of onboard Intel stuff). Specifically, On Exotic, the game lags so much that it's unplayable and i'm practically stuck there forever. What I feel (very very strongly), is that you need to give us an IMPROVED & DETAILED GRAPHICS SETTINGS option in the Game Settings menu such that we are able to tune each and every aspect of the Graphics Settings (just like every other game out there). This would be very much appreciated and I'm damn sure there are countless players who could benefit from this. P.S.: Without this feature, I would be finally regretting my purchase of astroneer ???
  7. Randomly when I'm exploring underground in the various planets (barren, exotic), I would suddenly get boosted through the ceiling really high and eventually die when I land. Don't know if this is an issue or if it's just me.
  8. Summary: Medium rover wheels gets stuck to the ground then realign under the rover after a little movement. Description: The summary pretty much covers it and the video really covers it. Platform: Steam Version / Build Number: Specifications: OS: Windows 10 64bit 1803 OS build:17134.285 CPU: Intel 6700K GPU: NVIDIA 1060 6GB (Driver Version 411.63) RAM: 16GB 2400MHz Drive: 7200RPM Harddrive
  9. handsovereyes - Steam - Shuttle bug

The first shuttle I built is locked in place, and regardless of what I try and do to disloged it, it won't budge. Tried: - Deleting ground below it - Inceasing terrain below it - Slamming rover into it - Using winch
  10. Summary: Generation of unmovable/undestroyable rock formations inside of placed base items. Description: After reloading of my save game I was greeted with a totally new rock formation basically trying to eat a small solar panel that I had placed on the ground. Doubly odd is that it isn't %100 percent persistent and seems to be linked to loading the save. One day it just showed up and the next day when I reloaded the save it was gone. Here's two short clips of it. The first one is right when I noticed it and the second one is a day later after reloading my save. Platform: Steam Version / Build Number: Specifications: OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit Version 1803 OS build 17134.285 CPU: Intel 6700K GPU: NVIDIA 1060 6GB(Driver Version 411.63) RAM: 16GB Drive: 7200RPM hard drive
  11. Version: Platform: Steam / Windows 10, running on a LiquidSky cloud gaming machine. I have a Chemistry Lab on Tundra that I started building Plastic at. I left for a while and came back, and part of the plastic is there, part of the Carbon and Compound are gone, but the machine isn't doing anything. I can hold Q to open the menu, and I can scroll left and right to select different things for it to build. If I hit the button to start building, though, nothing happens. I can't grab the partially-completed plastic. I detached and relocated the platform it was sitting on. The partially-completed plastic remains where the Chemistry Lab used to be. I can't pick it up. And I can't remove the partially-used Carbon or Compound from the machine. The machine is just stuck, and I can't find any way to get it to work. I tried leaving the planet and coming back. No difference. I tried exiting and coming back to a save. No difference. I'm not entirely sure how it ended up in this state. My base has power issues, so it's possible while I was far from the base, or when I returned, there wasn't any power. But everything else is working fine (atmospheric condenser, soil extractor, etc).
  12. I built medium shuttle, after tourney to another planet with small shuttle - it landed right in to medium shuttle! Also - after save - my small / medium rover almost allwyas is sunken in to surface. Sadly - it happens also with hard surfaces! One more thing - after save ang game reload i very often lose resources - left in smelter and other buildings. This is very, very sad! Also resources left on ground (specially built, hovered holes) - is mostly lost after game reload. Just reload after save, nothing more. When i play fo hours - they stay remaining, after save almost everything i gone!

    Medium Battery Bug

The yellow cylinders marking the amount of power in the battery is glitched out ?
  14. So my friend said that his small rover (now called a Buggy) battery wasn't draining even though the power generation wasn't working. This needs to be fixed soon if it is a bug (he's uh...less-than-intelligent let's say, so it may be a false report) but if it is a bug it does need to be fixed as it breaks the game balance. We're in multiplayer too, and I haven't seen this bug in singleplayer before
  15. Specs: OS: Windows 8 CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700HQ CPU @ 2.40Ghz GPU: NVidia GeForce GTX 770M RAM: 16.0 GB (don't know brand; it's integrated into the laptop SSD: LITEONIT LCS-256M6S Steps to reproduce: Place a firework on a storage slot. Light the firework. Before the firework explodes, left-click it to pick it up and move it around. Wait for the firework to explode. Grab a cable plug. Click somewhere to release the cable plug. Expected results: The cable plug should retract properly. Observed results: The cable plug does not retract. The player is stuck walking very slowly due to holding the cable plug. Additional notes: If there is a place to plug the cable plug into, it doesn't plug in. Yes, I know I probably blew my fingers off doing this. But they're virtual fingers, mmkay?

    Rover Disappeared and Co-op Bug

This one is a 2 part bug that may be connected? Has anyone else experienced vehicles disappearing? I have been playing solo in a new world since the last update, and had created a train of medium rovers to take underground to harvest research and whatnot. After attempts to co-op, which I’ll talk about later, we were a go and discovered that the “drive” rover in the train was gone. Everything else was still attached with the research onboard. Lost the rover, 1seat, power items, and medium storage, as well as the single pin items and tools on that storage. Searched everywhere on the “green level” but only found busted rovers and equipment that were originally down there. We even checked under the actual ground in that spot as things have been known to go submarine lol. Still nothing. Ended up building a large rover (with backwards 3seat attached) to replace what was lost. Tried a co-op game in my world with my brother and after a few attempts to join, he luckily said, “hey what if I create a new game from the menu and see if that brings me to you.” Luckily it did. In multiple attempts, we each tried to invite or host each other but after the host prompt in the top left went away, we were stuck in limbo in some wall/surface. I’m attaching a picture of this. After about 5secs the screen booted back to the “alpha note” prompt that’s shown while the game loads. Once you press ‘A’, you are back at the main space station menu without any saves available. We kept restarting the game to see if it would work, but it wasn’t until he had the aforementioned thought that he came flying in. I had been playing kitties before the co-op tries, and my rover was there. Not sure if it despawned due to the glitches that we fought to get on the same map? Either way just wanted to give a bug report for each situation. Sorry it’s so long, but didn’t know any other way to explain the sequence of issues.
  18. Driving across Terran I stepped out of the vehicle to accomplish a task (I believe I was either gathering resources or building a ramp) when the game crashed. Re-start the game hours later and I find myself in the vehicle, trapped underground in the wall.
  19. Mined out a base area that had some resource in it, rejoined the game and did a dig down into the base and all the resource that I had previously mined reappeared. Was able to mine it again by doing an up dig but it didn't appear in my backpack.
  20. Summary: - Steam - Glitched above Tundra Description: I'm sorry to say that I cannot recall precisely what I was doing at the time the glitch happened, so I'm unsure of how to re-create it. I do know that I was just running around my base, and my player model must have hit something in a strange way which caused my character to glitch, or "teleport" above the planet I was on at the time (Tundra.) Similar instances have happened to me before, but not this extreme. (Just running around terrain, when collision detection with the ground causes my character to instantaneously "teleport" between 10-15 feet into the air. I'd say this has occurred to me about 2 or 3 times. I don't think it matters, but I've only experienced these smaller instances while playing multiplayer with a friend. This is the first time this happened to me while playing by myself in single-player, and it shot me up into the sky.) I wish I had Nvidia's instant replay feature enabled at the time, so that I could save the last five minutes of game-play, and have footage of the glitch occurring. The best that I could do was get the attached screenshot, which shows my player model in the air above Tundra after the incident. At least I got a pretty sweet screenshot out of this! Platform: Steam Version / Build Number: Specifications: OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 | Version 10.0.16299 Build 16299 CPU: Intel i5 7600k 3.8GHz GPU: Zotac Geforce GTX 1060 AMP! 6GB RAM: Corsair 1x8GB DDR4 3800Hz, & Corsair 1x4GB DDR4 3800Hz Drive: Western Digital 1TB SATA 7200 RPM (wd10ezex)
  21. I downloaded Astroneer about 1 week ago and about two days after I started playing my game it began crashing after I tried to save my progress with any habitat or vehicle. I’ve tried clearing my Xbox’s cache but nothing has worked. So now I haven’t really been able to play the game. If anyone knows how to fix this please help. Thanks
  22. xbox one s- terrain loaded in incorrectly i started up a new save file and in my first play session i built an underground garage and parked my rover there at the end. When i loaded in the next day, my rover had fallen through the ground into a cave below and the surface particles were all floating where the ground used to be. (See attached photo) xbox one s
  23. The title pretty much explains it all. I was skidding down a mountain and I died because the mountain was so steep and I went too fast but when I died, instead of tilting itself up or being affected by gravity and falling down the hill, it glitched inside the hill. If possible, I will do a follow up with a video of me replicating this glitch.
  24. I've been playing with a friend for 3 days now and when we created our first medium rover we had a problem which was that i couldn't place anything on TOP of the rover but i could place anything only on the sides. Also it was impossible for me to build a rover i tried everything to see if it works but nothing happened. My friend on the others hand could easily put anything on top of the rover and could create one as well. We tried restarting the game, exiting and re entering and i died so i could "reset" my character. Notes: My friend was the host We both are playing from PC
  25. Just posted about Xbox saves, but there is something else I found that I don’t think is intended. ive been farming a considerable amount of soil, so all of the ground around my starting base is hollow. I leveled the ground to make a platform for my solar/wind farm. So the whole platform is completely hollow underneath but there is a ton of space leveled on top. The power farm is fine. i parked my vehicle next to the power farm , same platform, and when I logged in the next day the front wheels were dug into the ground. It was minor I just dug it out and re leveled the ground. next log in, again had the vehicle up there with 2 other medium platforms attached, and About 3/4 Of the vehicle was underground, only a piece was sticking out. Digging that out was really difficult. I think the hollow ground underneath caused a glitch of some sort.
