  1. Updated about 45 minutes ago to current on Xbox when trying to use my right analog stick to move the camera/selection tool/terrain tool/anything that involves the right analog stick will move smoothly vertically and diagonally but as you start to sway the joystick to horizontal movement meaning turning left or right or moving an object it will only move a very slight amount and stop completely while holding the joystick fully to one side or another making any type of smooth movement or transition or even playing any part of this game an absolute and Complete nightmare so awful it's not worth playing on console until this issue is fixed in my opinion
  2. noticed while playing the newest version there's no way to operate the vehicle bay with a controller. the little blue rings that show you what you can pick up or touch don't appear around the vehicle bay buttons (screenshot is while holding right trigger). it also happens with the tether for a rover: there's no way to link a rover back to base with a controller; you have to grab the mouse to click the transparent blue line. that's only a minor nuisance though, compared to not being able to make rovers or shuttles in the first place if you're playing with controller only.
  3. I would like to know if in any update you have released the option to enable the gamepad controls in the settings. All players would like this a lot. Thanks !!
  4. The invert Y gamepad has been broken since the first update you did on the game, and still not working. i can only play games with invert Y stearing so this bothers me even more than the flying cars we see, that still happens. When you activate invert Y controls in options, then the stearing, looking up and down works as it should but. When you equip your deformer tool then it stops working as invert and goes back to normal. If you Press LT when using tool then suddently it works as invert. If you Enter your inventory then it also stops working. And if you Press LT to aim and pick up items, then it is also broken. so in short. Invert controls *looking up/down works fine when Nothing equiped. *equiping tool breaks invert controls. But if you Press and hold LT then it works again. *using your backpack inventory also breaks the invert stearing. And the same does when you press LT to aim and pick up items. This was the best way i could explain this sorry im not english. But plz fix this as fast as you can. I really wanna help you out and finding bugs but i just can't play this game if the invert controls dont work sorry.. Thx in advance. PS still see flying space cars, and planets that looks like sliced Apples. You know that i am sure, but still
  5. While I really appreciate that there's gamepad support so early on in the game's development there are parts where they just fall flat. The snap to outlet feature is much appreciated but it could use a slightly tighter control, frequently I end up grabbing a solar panel instead of activating a base. The improvement I would recommend for that is mapping the activation symbol to a dedicated or context sensitive button so you can just walk up to a research platform, smelter, etc and just make them do their work without having to aim the cursor when using the gamepad. I would also greatly appreciate a dedicated button for liftoff/leave orbit on shuttles and spaceships, using either control scheme, frequently the camera makes those features difficult to select.
  6. This game screams play me with a gamepad but i find the xbox controller layout very cumbersome. Hopefully we'll be able to tweak it in the future (increase thumb stick sensitivity, alternative button layout) but i think it would benefit from some auto targeting features like a cursor selecting UI elements such as the arrows on the printer, the expansion points on the base, the start button the smelter etc. and allowing cycling through using shoulder buttons
