    Yippeeee, that was meeee! I was getting slightly annoyed with having to save so often by returning to base so much. No transport as of yet at my base. Freezing often. Hope this works, can't wait to try. Thanks.

    Custom Astroneer Figure

    That looks really great. Imagine putting the "worklamp" in that backpack ..... LED with batteries inside the backpack. A short length of opaque tube covering the bulb should work a treat! Your little desktop Astroneer, lighting up the dark 🙂 And a waving arm like one of those lucky chinese cat! Nice work, keep posting pics for us to see.

    I did something similar although I used the shuttle to traverse Terran.
  6. On PC version, there must be something similar for game controllers: hold down RIGHT mouse button to steer up/down/left/right, up arrow to move forward all while holding the item. It is easy to manouveur a research object to guide it through tricky tunnels etc. Steer the object and your astroneer will follow it. Good luck.

    Bonjour, construisez une "small shuttle", ajoutez une capsule à votre astroneer, créez DEUX moteurs à "solid fuel" (un voyage seul piece), décompactez-en une et ajoutez-la à votre navette, laissez l'autre emballée et ajoutez-la à votre valise. Visitez Barren pour trouver Walformite. Retirez le moteur à combustible solide usagé, déballez le nouveau et rentrez chez vous pour faire fondre votre Walformite.     Unable to complete tutorial

    Having the tips in cronological order in a SEPERATE box on screen in a corner perhaps would help. I gave up when I could not research any further because the research button is broken/missing. sucks!

    game now impossible to do anything

    OK, I GIVE UP! Having returned to the game after a few months away I thought I'd brush up on things and play the tutorial again. Well, I gave up after getting so ********* frustrated with an UNPLAYABLE tutorial. Things are so damn complicated I gave up with trying to research things with a research machine with a MISSING BUTTON and ENDLESS messages telling me to print pointless canisters to fill with dirt to print a ramp that CANNOT BE PRINTED because I CANNOT RESEARCH a ramp, not to mention the fact that I kept dying the moment I left the landing pod and suffocated before I'd even had a chance to do ANYTHING. I thought the developers would at least consider that not everyone plays the game every day and create a useful tutorial that could be followed logically. WHY?........WHY do the basics of SIMPLE instructions get ignored in favour of more and more "stuff" that will never get to be seen or used If I cannot even get past the first hurdle? C'mon peeps, this just hasn't been thought through. I am not a moron but you make me feel like one and playing this bad tutorial has just made me angry. Thanks. Help would be gratefully recieved so I can enjoy the game again......or not.

    Perhaps that depends on the player imput....PC, Xbox etc. As a PC player it is not intuitive to hold any key down for anything on any other game I've playet (yet).

    I'm sorry, but the U.I. seems to be getting worse. Having to not only click, but hold a buton to make something happen is completely unintuitive to say the least. Just wrong, no! no! no! This could so easily be a mouse only game for pc but why make it so much more complicated than it has to be? It must be the ONLY game I've ever played that has this kind of crazy interface. Also, a little bug...sometimes I cannot make selections in the research menu backpack thingy, it just closes when I try to make a selection and I can only change this if I first open the ordinary back pack first. Still playing, keep up the good work.

    Reduce amount of rocks by 99%

    I have to admit, I too hate the rocks but I also understand they are a cool and necessary feature for your average alien planet. Could they (some of them) be spawned more as a surface texture than an object? Or perhaps make some of them disintegrate or split into smaller rocks when a rover comes into contact with them? They make driving around a very stop/start operation. How about a "waypoint" system for driving? Click on terrain to go there and just keep clicking in the direction you wish to travel?

    End Game Objective

    An idea I have been thinking about too. The possibility of planting seeds to grow oxygen giving plants inside a buildable geo-dome or in a cave under lights (hydroponics) would be a great challenge. Move on to multiple domes and research to make genetically modified seeds (in a new machine) to plant on the planet's surface. Planting could possibly be implemented into the gun to cover large areas. Helmets could be removed inside the domes and they could have airlock doors. Good opportunity for personalising character faces. Goal: breathable air on planet. Clouds, rain, groundwater on hard rock based pools. Fun
  15. Second thoughts about the "god solar system"....all we need is a space station to visit as the node. OK, off to get Lithium.
