  2. When we started playing the new 0.6.0 release we started building the base in multiplayer. We printed a Research Station and placed it on the ground, not on a platform. It unpacked and got stuck to the ground. This might be a feature. And there might be a way to repack it. But we could find no way to move or repack. Is there a way to move or repack a modular item if it gets placed on the ground instead of on a platform? Perhaps ground placement should be disallowed, or repacking should be an option, or maybe we missed the instructions to do so.

    0.6.0

    First Off, Great update. I like the new base building. There seems to be a bug in multiplayer game joining. I play with my kid on the same network, and with my brother who is not on the same network. When the update came out we updated both of our home machines with the Steam version installed. We were able to join just fine to start. Then my brother joined our game. Things were fine for a few minutes then there was a network error that I should have captured but didn't. It kicked all players out of the game except the host. Then none of us were able to join any game hosted on any machine. I was able to get the two local machines to talk to each other again after restarting both of them. Sorry its vague, hopefully someone else will be able to capture it better.

    I have said this before in the suggestion thread, but here goes one more plug. There should be some game difficulty options at the start of a game. I think that allowing trading hydrazine should be a prime candidate for options in the game start menu.

  6. Please do not add guns to this game. All the others have them and it is a refreshing change of pace. This game does not need guns and fighting. There are enough games out there that have them. One of the main reasons that I like this game is that it is very family friendly. It is a great game to play with my 5 year old. This game is about building and exploration. If it changes from building and exploration into just another fighting game I will stop recommending it to other parents. There are lots of games with guns and killing. I don't mind guns and killing games, but I don't want my younger kids playing them yet. Heck I enjoy the laid back change of pace as well sometimes. Please keep this game themed away from the violence of the other games.
  7. Goal: First player to place a Habitat on the End Planet wins. Conditions: All Players start at Terren with a loaded pack, a spaceship, a habitat and two resources attached to the Habitat. Each player establishes a base on the chosen Base Build planet, builds a new Habitat, and a new ship for the end planet. First player to place their new Habitat on the new planet wins. Setup: As a group effort build a Vehicle Bay for each player with a shuttle in each that is loaded with a Habitat. Each player can have whatever they can carry in their pack. Everyone launches at the same time and the space race begins.

    Game Objective?

    The game is a simple one buts lots of fun. Yes you can build everything in a short time. What has been enjoyable for me is attempting to do some of the challenges posted on the forum. I hope they eventually build challenges into the game.

    Driving on the moon is awesome. My kids and I enjoy building ramps to jump the big craters . You can get tons of air.

    Idea List Page

    An idea list to see what has been suggested would be great. Especially for those that pop up every few days. It may prevent so many of the same ideas reposted. And perhaps a status to see if it is being considered.

    Do we even need Fuel Condensers?

    The rewards right now, are because you can. But I hope that some sort of scoring system, or objectives system would go into game play. Especially in Multiplayer. Possibly launch a game with a time limit or objective. In single player it would be to see if you could do it on that difficulty, or for a high score. And in multiplayer it would be to see who does it first or has the highest score. Some examples could be: Start a multiplayer game with No Trucks, No Spaceships, and No Trade Platforms. The first player to have a Habitat on the moon wins. Or Start a multiplayer game with no Hydrozine Condensers. The player with the most Hydrozine collected at their base after 1 hour wins. Or Start a single player game. No Spaceships. Game is complete when you build a truck on another planet. Could be a nice achievement system for steam too.

    I would like to argue that the inclusion and continued development time for this feature is critical to younger players. This is my 5 year olds favorite game right now. I enjoy it as well. It is a great game to play together. But when he is playing on his own, he needs is to be much easier than I do. If not he easily strands himself on other planets. These are good features for younger players. But I think there should be a way to switch them off to increase the difficulty.

    It would be nice if there was a game setup screen that would allow you to choose what facilities are available to build. So you could remove fuel condensers or trade platforms. Although right now I just don't build either. If you think its cheating and don't like them. Just don't build them. The game is geared for exploration. If you feel you need those to play, use them. If not just don't build them.

    Trading between players on a server.

    I think this would actually make the trade platform lots better. I try not to use it because it almost seems like cheering. But in multiplayer it makes sense.

    Habitat upgrade

    It would be cool if you could give your habitat resources to expand it like the platforms. Maybe have a research to unlock it. And.when it expands give it some more mount points.

    I think I found a surprise

    I found you can harvest and plant seeds from the spiky mushrooms. be carefully where you leave the seeds. I put one in a pile of lewt to take to the surface and it took root.

    I like these ideas. A screen at the game start would be great to configure. - Seed amount for spawning resources. - Tethers - Allowed buildings - Allowed vehicles - Weather Intensity

  24. I have read posts saying that the Save Game needs to be improved, but I have not read ideas on how. Here are my thoughts. When you start a game you should be asked for a Mission name. Each of the saves on the station should represent one Mission. As you scroll thru the saves you should see the Mission name somewhere on || above || below the habitat. As you play that Mission the autosave will save to that mission. I think this would greatly improve the game save functionality. Mardok
