    What's happening with the updates?

What exactly is 'too much' and why?
  2. Further tinkering in the main menu shows there are sometimes 2 white dots for the mouse cursor; a large one with a smaller one over the top. The two come together when I move the mouse to the top left corner of the screen. If I click anywhere other than a button the larger dot (which appears to be the tip of the cursor) disappears. Entering the game still shows the small dot only and this is actually situated, in the majority of the screen, above the large. This is an unbelievably frustrating bug to deal with while playing.
  3. I suggested this literally 2 years ago, December 2016. They don't seem to be concerned with tracking features/bugs publicly. I'm going to make the grand assumption that they do have a system behind closed doors .
  4. No, that's really not what this is about. All the other machines have a way to restrict how long they operate for - what you refer to as toggling them - and so have an end. The atmospheric condenser, when placed on a large platform with medium storage or with a large platform type C, will run continually until all the slots on the platform are filled. I can remove the medium storage but I shouldn't have to, I should be able to control the machine. A macro example to exaggerate why I feel this is bad: if you have unlimited storage the atmospheric condenser will run forever. 'Infinite' amounts is completely valid and should be an option on the console, however I don't feel it should be the only option as it consumes my in-game time for little to no enjoyment - it's just annoying.
  5. I would personally find this useful as I frequently check time left to decide whether I should walk away and explore etc.
  6. At present, the Atmospheric Condenser, once turned on, will produce as many canisters as can fill the platform it's situated on. This isn't great especially if you want to turn it on and walk away. As a user I want to specify the number of canisters the Atmospheric Condenser produces so that I can leave the machine functioning and carry on doing another task.
  7. This is even apparent in the main menu. You can't see the mouse in the below images but the white cursor is over the button in the second image. Hovering over top of button Hovering over bottom of button
  8. Summary: 0.10.5 - Steam Play - Extenders become unselectable when mounted on a Barren vent Description: On Barren when you mount an extender to a "steam vent" it can, sometimes, no longer be selected. Hovering over the extender Platform: Steam Play Version / Build Number: 0.10.5 Specifications: OS: Linux (Ubuntu 18.04) CPU: Intel i7-3770 GPU: GeForce GTX 970 RAM: 2x8GB DDR3 1600 MHz Drive: 2TB SATA Drive
  9. I think the point is it shouldn't matter. Appropriate graphics settings for the hardware should yield a respectable FPS without degradation resulting from prolonged periods of play/many more objects being handled. A game that's only playable on a top-end PC is a useless game. It targets a very niche market and would absolutely close off console markets. I've experienced degraded performance with a rig that's about 8 years old (due an upgrade) but is still decent and should run a game like Astroneer without a hiccup. Platform: Steam Play Version / Build Number: 0.10.5 Specifications: OS: Linux (Ubuntu 18.04) CPU: Intel i7-3770 GPU: GeForce GTX 970 RAM: 2x8GB DDR3 1600 MHz Drive: 2TB SATA Drive
  10. I've inconsistently reproduced this. Platform: Steam Play Version / Build Number: 0.10.5 Specifications: OS: Linux (Ubuntu 18.04) CPU: Intel i7-3770 GPU: GeForce GTX 970 RAM: 2x8GB DDR3 1600 MHz Drive: 2TB SATA Drive
  11. That is quite amusing. I take it that's not a hole? Re the bug, I had levelled the ground in-front of the vehicle bay. I've made a guess at it being slightly off as the vehicle could be moved once I dug at the wheels just a fraction. I'm yet to reproduce myself.
  12. Summary: 0.10.5 - Steam Play - Planet cut in half/quarters Description: Tundra appears to be in half/quarters and positioned oddly. Happened after loading in from a save. I hadn't noticed it before exiting. Platform: Steam Play Version / Build Number: 0.10.5 Specifications: OS: Linux (Ubuntu 18.04) CPU: Intel i7-3770 GPU: GeForce GTX 970 RAM: 2x8GB DDR3 1600 MHz Drive: 2TB SATA Drive
  13. Summary: 0.10.5 - Steam Play - Vehicle stuck in uneven ground after print Description: When a vehicle bay is set up on uneven ground, specifically the ground in-front of it is slightly higher, it can trap vehicles. I specifically saw a medium rover become immovable (albeit digging it out worked just fine). I'd consider this a fault of the vehicle bay which should probably flatten the ground in-front of it before printing anything (same with other printers). Platform: Steam Play Version / Build Number: 0.10.5 Specifications: OS: Linux (Ubuntu 18.04) CPU: Intel i7-3770 GPU: GeForce GTX 970 RAM: 2x8GB DDR3 1600 MHz Drive: 2TB SATA Drive
  14. Seems to be happening on the habitat as well. Not really sure what's causing it to be honest. Seems to be quick flicking into the backpack sometimes triggers it but specifically what I don't know.
