  1. If you've reached this milestone by researching items, samples, and resources: congratulations! You've finished the grindiest non-achievement in the game. Go ahead and give yourself a pat on the back by posting a screenshot of your Research Catalog.
  2. This worked perfectly, Cyber!! I now have my Win10/Xbox save in my Steam version of Astroneer. I'm elated. Thank you. Thank you.

  4. What do I do for a Windows Store version save that looks like it has multiple parts? It is my original-has-everything-completionist save. A total of four parts with the same file date and time, three are the same size (16,384 KB), and a smaller file. I can see on loading the save size is 60MB, it means the file is parted, yes? How do I migrate it to Steam? I tried copying all of the files to the SaveGames directory, and appending the .savegame to the smallest file, but that didn't work.
  5. A soil centrifuge can be used to make plenty of the basic resources (Compound, Resin, Organic, Clay, Quartz, Graphite, Ammonium). Mining Graphite and Ammonium can be much quicker because of the higher soil requirement per resource, but time can be consumed by driving without locating deposits. I suppose it is a fun part of the game to build your solar system by hunting for these resources in bulk; but for big projects or projects that require Titanium Alloy or Nanocarbon Alloy, it would be nice to have a way of pointing my astroneer in the right direction. Because you're hunting on a pl
  6. I picked up the mouse and keyboard to begin playing Astroneer in the Summer of 2018, and I've been hooked since; but I have a problem: I'm a completionist gamer. I finally gave up on games that grind a few years ago, but not before obtaining achievement titles for quest and rep grinding. Still, I have those long-developed desires to do everything in the game: obtain all blueprints (check), build one (or many, many more) of everything (check), find those hard-to-find objects – or 14 of them, All Hail! – (check), do all of the community events (check). Yes, I have a chess board with complete
  7. Does anyone have good info on the respawn times for mineral research samples? The Astroneer Wiki says, "After being harvested, the Research Sample will respawn within 2-3 minutes," but I've found this is inaccurate, and have noted it sometime takes a week or more for these samples to reappear.
  8. UPDATE: Running new Astroneer Version 1.1.2.0 and updated GPU to a Radeon RX 580, running stock. Issue persists, but the freeze and crash are occurring later after saving (getting into vehicle). I am more convinced the crashes are about driving the rover at high rate of speed over the surface. Version / Build Number: 1.1.2.0 Specifications: OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 | v. 1809 | Build 17763.475 CPU: Intel i7 2700K 3.5GHz GPU: XFX Radeon RX 580 GTS Black Core Edition, Model RS-580P82 **New** RAM: Corsair 2x8GB DDR3 1600Hz, Model CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10 Dr
  9. UPDATE: I had another crash of this type, but I hadn't exited or reentered the rover. Rather, I had stopped driving and walked away from and returned to the game. I began driving forward, full speed, and the game crashed. So, this crash WAS NOT related to the saving of my progress. 10. Summary: 1.0.15.0 - Windows 10 Store - Crash After Save / Crash When Start Driving Rover Description: Not exclusively, but often when I get into a vehicle, including my large rover and I begin to drive the game will freeze for a moment and then crash. I don't know if it is the act of the saving the game when getting into the rover, or driving, or a combination of the two. I have tried to reduce the graphics settings to see if it helps, but I still get crashes. Platform: Windows 10 Store Version / Build Number: 1.0.15.0 Specifications: OS: Windows 10 Pr
