  1. The small solar panels, generator, and work lights can all stand alone and attach to vehicles or other base modules - which is friggin awesome - thankyou for that feature. I would like to suggest that the large solar, medium battery and others have this function as well. its awesome! also a holo outline like the extenders and main base parts have would be really nice so you can see which way things are facing without having to pick them up press Z or X place and repeat till its how you want it. as for oxygen. the main base having infinite is understandable, it has the oxygen scrubber built into the side of it. however, rovers should not, in my opinion I would love to see an oxygen generator, Maybe an oxygen generator modual that attaches to a vehicle or base that uses vehicle / base power and is the only item that connects to tethers. Could have it be deployable so you set it down on the ground, deploy it then it can be linked into a base or vehicle via the connection system and will link to tethers only while deployed. Then have the ability to repack it so you can attach it to your vehicle again and drive to a new location.
  2. Dont know if I should start a new thread for this but here goes. After the newest update my friend and I tested multiplayer again. he is running an AMD cpu and gpu, and single player works decently for him today. I am running a Intel i7 cpu and dual Nvidia 860m's (alienware 18) no major stability issues in single player or multiplayer. my friend's game keeps crashing when he tries to join my game. he was finally able to join for about a min and then crashed out again. crash* fully to desktop everytime before this last update him joining me would cause both of us to crash so good improvement there as I no longer crash. also thankyou for this update. I can now play on my gaming desktop (Intel i5 -Dual Core and Nvidia 1050Ti)

  5. So the "Tether Patch Beta! Help Test!" has a quote that states: Look for differences in how [beta] (0.2.96.0) behaves/performs versus the [default] (0.2.93.0) branch Default for me is 0.2.90.0 even with a fresh install and relaunch of steam. am I missing something?

    you can also use the super cheaty way and once you have researched the trade station and fuel condenser just trade fuel for whatever materials you need.

    If you cant seem to connect to the other persons game or vice versa, ive found that having both parties restart the game usually will allow a connection.
  8. The last update removed the hitbox from the tethers. You can walk and drive through them now.

    Another option would be requiring organics as fuel to process into oxygen for the oxygen generator as well as needing power. With some kind of attachment system like the trade station but 4 points instead of 8 and only accepts organics.

    The only time I have tether lag is when my vehicle (not noticeable till I have 2 or more vehicles connected together) is near tethers and they try to connect to it. The fps drop is really bad. I'd like to see either a function to specifically connect tethers to vehicles, a special tether / modual that only connects to vehicles and other tethers while normal tethers ignore vehicles, or the ability to connect tethers to vehicles just gone.   11. Only issue I have with those slots is oxygen tanks won't provide oxygen or refill while in them (for me at least) not sure if it's intended like they should be used for power and not oxygen or if it's a bug or they just forgot to code those for oxygen transfer.

    I second this. Love the game. Tethers are a bit odd they randomly disconnect quite a bit and I always make sure not to extend them to their max limit. I always have 2 spare tanks on me just in case. Also when you put a tank on the outer slots (where solar panels go) they do not provide oxygen at all they have to be in the normal backpack slots to function. Not sure if this is intended or a bug.

    Truck storage bug

    I installed the upgraded storage on a truck single seat and large solar up front I can usually carry up to 3 researchable items adding a 4th makes the vehicle dance and stutter as previously described by other users. Also having two or more trucks linked together when near tethers they connect to the vehicles and cause massive fps drops and lag. I think making tethers not connect to vehicles or adding some kind of modual that you can specifically use to attach tethers to would be helpful. Although I don't think the placeable tethers should attach to vehicles at all personally. I tend not to use that function when spelunking anyway and having them link to the vehicle when you get back near base just kills the gameplay.
