  1. I have a question. This isn't meant out of spite or any form of malice. At this point I feel it is a very fair and necessary question. Does anyone actually play test these patches on Xbox before they release them or are they just ported from Windows and assumed to be ready for launch? I ask this because of a continuing trend I see from every console game I play that isn't exclusive to the console. Almost every single patch after official release either fixes nothing substantial or actually causes additional problems. I have played this game since about 4 months before 1.0 dropped. Each patch from then until 1.0 addressed basic game function issues and with a few exception enhanced the game in my opinion. However since 1.0 dropped each patch seems to be either making the game less enjoyable or just flat out making it unplayable. I have lost well over 200 hours due to Xbox save corruption involving the save system that is used. Vehicle mechanics have always been iffy but are systematically getting worse ( for an example try using the tractor to drill resources with the new breaking system...which only works while trying to drill...). I seriously love the concept, art, and overall function of the game itself, I am just at a loss to understand why I see patches dropping and no perceptible change for the better. It's not just System Era, AAA game publishers have the identical issue, which is why I wonder if the devs are actually sitting down with and actual Xbox and testing it or if they are emulating one and assuming it's the same, because it isn't.
  2. OK, had the same issue at 1.0.9.0. Decided to start a clean game after 1.0.13.0 dropped. All went well until Vesania. I did the planets in a different order this time hoping for the best. This time, just as with last time Vesania killed me. I opened node 2, then 5, then 1. After opening 1 the system will claim to save my game. The Xbox will even do it's game stutter like it is saving a file. It even updates my save file name when I change it. But alas, it is all a lie. It will not update the file any longer. I also still have the random crashing with using any save game option late game. It seems to hate the rover seat more than most, but any option will do. On a side note, LOVE the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just hope the fixes come at reasonable intervals.
  3. I have been working towards "end game" since 1.0. I have been stuck on Novus since 1.0.7.0 because at first my game would not save at all, but as of 1.0.9.0 it wall save upon my first entry into a save-causing item. after that it ignore all save attempts and potentially crashes on each attempt. Is there a bug that corrupts saves to do this? I don't mind if I need to start a new game so much, but if this i going to hit me again it will be...annoying. For the record, I have no known issues at 1.0.6.0 or before apart from the ones you have been fixing.
  4. As of the 1.0.6.0 patch my game will no longer update my save game file. I just deleted all but my main file to be sure it wasn't maxing out it's allotment or something but that obviously wasn't the problem.

    As of the current patch I crash 90-ish percent of the time when I enter any object that causes a save file event. On top of this I am just now starting to experience more random crashes to "desktop". The latter may just be due to the fact that the newest consoles like to crash on games not specifically written for them, but I am unsure as they seem to have become more prevalent just today.
