  1. Yes this game is about exploration, and people are saying this removes the point of exploring as you get "unlimited resources". But there needs to be a point in the game where the player has advanced enough that they no longer need to explore to get resources. This is alpha/beta so there are many features and quality of life stuff not yet implemented. Regardless of if this stays or goes, I think we would then have other reasons to explore, other than to just gather resources, so this issue then becomes minor. Maybe later on, certain structures can only be built underground, or on mountains, or next to moons etc. There are going to be so many more reasons to explore that aren't yet implemented! My point being, it's beta, and I'm hoping for systems that make us explore for more than just resources.

    Idea for Planet Map

    Yes. It would be cool if we had to 1) Build a radar / comms station 2) Launch a satellite (or multiple) then with the two we would get access to a world map, for that planet! I'd love this!
  3. Why? I love the little generator. But I hate having to "feed" it organics, sometimes it's fiddily (if the gen is on the top two bits of your backpack) other times, it's time critical, finally we currently have no other use of organics. So id like to have a gen with a switch to "auto consume" so that any organics I "Hoover up" it would pop straight into the generator ?
  4. I would like to be able to build mines at some point in the game. There are large deposits through the game that can be mined with the terraforming tool, which then regenerates each day or so, like the large blue rocks of resin that has 3 arrows sticking out of it. I propose an idea where we can research and build different types of mines (depending on the resource) and get a steady tick of resources each day. Couppled with this would be resource management. I.e. an interface that allows me to view how much of each resource I have (either overall, or within a particular area). Perhaps a Silo structure that the player can research and build which acts as a storage place for your mines and can be built next to them and automatically gets filled up by the mines. They can be multiple sizes and you can connect multiple together. Then, all of the resources in the silo can be used wherever its tethered or connected. Finally it would be nice to have a "Resource shuttle" so I can build mines and silos on a moon or distant planet, then build a resource shuttle (which is a building) and it allows resources to be automatically transported to other locations in the solar system that also has a resource shuttle. The automatic nature here is key, even if there is a delay for off world resources to arrive (could even display an ETA countdown when it's requested) In a nutshell, I want to industrially mine the solar system, one mine at a time! This could even be an advanced and hard goal to achieve, and could then enable the construction of crazy large super advanced vechicles or structure :-) Maybe later in the game you can have the requirement of 10x compound mines and 2x lithium mines requires to build XYZ.     Unlimited Free Resources

    Yeah I've been doing this for some time now. I hope it's a feature. As the game should let the player get beyond the point where they are not reliant of digging up resources, and can get resources in another way. I hope this is intentional
  6. Are you still seated on the floor when you load the game? If so maybe invite someone a friend with the game to see if they can move your seat ?
  7. Yup. I have this too. Shame I'll have to build another one too. Is there a way of dismantaling stations / structures?
