    Sorry to burst your bubble, but most people don't explore just to explore. You can if you want, but the rest of us want to have a reason to go (better resources or loot) That's just basic human nature and game design, you've gotta have something to get otherwise there's no point in exploring.
  2. So my friend said that his small rover (now called a Buggy) battery wasn't draining even though the power generation wasn't working. This needs to be fixed soon if it is a bug (he's uh...less-than-intelligent let's say, so it may be a false report) but if it is a bug it does need to be fixed as it breaks the game balance. We're in multiplayer too, and I haven't seen this bug in singleplayer before

    Yeah a lot of people agree, Storms happen so often they're a minor nuisance more than a threat.

    Yeah, it'd be 2x the size of the Large Shuttle. I like this idea.

    Yeah it is, but they could at least make the Small Fabricator a bit bigger so the model doesn't glitch out. Perhaps when mod support is added someone will fix it by re-introducing the Medium Printer.

    Alright so overall this update is pretty cool, but my one complaint is that the Medium Printer isn't around anymore. The small fabricator replacing it seems alright in theory, but the model gets all messed up since it's got 2 slots now. Why even get rid of the Printer? It was fine as it was. Maybe add a new "Module Fabricator" or something that replaces the Printer? Or re-add the Printer?
  11. So I made a new world when the new update got released, but I noticed I can't flatten the land near the starting area like I used to be able too. I'm not one to care a lot about aesthetics, but this is one of the few things I would do as soon as starting a new world. I know the terrain is supposed to be uneditable, which is nice; but you used to be able to just flatten terrain around it since you almost never land in a flat area.     Tutorial Feedback

    Damn, r/gatekeeping much? You don't HAVE to play the tutorial, no one is requiring you too. The tree tao would be great because you could finally use all those trees that are everywhere (And always in my base area!) This tutorial is far form hand holdy too. And it's not forced, like I said.

    So I just played through the new tutorial world, and I think it's pretty good. So; my feedback: 1) For the shuttle, you should have to build an Enclosed 1-Seat, as an open seat would expose you to space and make you die (Also preventing people form using the shuttle with an open seat on it) 2) The building the shuttle is on is really cool, and it'd be nice if we could get something like it in the game. I'd love to be able to build a dedicated shuttle platform; and also the landing bubble could be a different colour to indicate it's a platform like that. (And any landing bubbles around your base already would be disabled if you had the platform) 3) The data bank box you find to get the blueprint for the seat. Is this actually in the game? It'd be cool if you could find those, but be able to transport them back to your base. (And they'd have special blueprints, or perhaps ones for progression; whichever) 4) The organic tap. I really loved that, it should be something you can craft (Plus, it would make trees useful.) That's all I've got so far, overall I like this new tutorial. PS: The new icons and tooltips for resources are really cool! I love that new system. I think every T1 item should have a tooltip like that, explaining its purpose.

    Soil Extractor

    This doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but it sounds like you want a way to create infinite soil. That won't really happen. The devs are trying to make everything in the game finite, and as such you need to use soil to create other items (which you can't turn back into soil) I think they're going to make the Boost mod usable on platforms though (Say special mod slots on every base module, and you can put 1 or 2 boost mods on it to make it 50/100% faster)
