I saw in your recent Dev stream you briefly commented on the future of alien life forms within Astroneer, in particular the team emphasized that there would be no gun play and less focus on combat. I couldn't help but think of another Early Access game I'm sure you've heard of, Subnautica. Subnautica, in my opinion, has done a fantastic job of introducing friendly, passive and a large number of hostile fauna to it's game with a large emphasis on avoiding and evading conflict. I really think it's a fantastic game to take inspiration from when developing the Fauna of Astroneer. Please
  4. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but I thought I'd mention it. In a multiplayer game the Host has the usual, relatively large render distance and can see all way-points in range. But anybody who had joined the game has a very short view distance, no more than 100m, and cannot see the player/beacon way-points outside of this range either. It really makes it difficult to play over distances with friends. Loving the game thus far, would just be nice to have a greater render distance for both host and clients. Thanks
  5. I think it would be better if not every storm had boulders. Making it so you could keep working in the storm. perhaps a mechanic which makes you get pushed around if you're not tethered.
  6. I was the first to find it and post it on forums Admin said it's just a marble to use for fun. They have plans for them so best hold onto it!
  7. Tried and failed It's alright. Started a new world anyway. Really fun to start over even if you lose a lot of progress!
  8. Tried everything, no idea how to disconnect the tethers from the floor
  9. There's also things like tether lines clipping through the ground.
  10. Or perhaps just the option to flatten the terrain to where you begin sculpting?
