  1. Hi, Each time i'm launching the game and whatever the graphic settings are setup on high, medium or low, I'm keeping to have constant small freezes while I'm moving or changing view in game.   2. Playing with a friend, it appeared than some (not all) deposits weren't visible to him (the guest player) but to me (the host player). After an exchange of screenshots it seems than a bug occured. So here my screenshot, where some ammonium stuff is still remaining. And here, this is the same moment / same place, but no deposit visible at all. No remaining stuff , nothing in fact.     MAKE A SAVE FOR THE KEYBOARD SETTING

    It's more a missing feature than a bug, but yeah same thing than Pilpoil. It's not so important , but it's more confortable for the azerty keyboard players.

Why about having the possibility to produce the little rover frame on the ground (like the others ) and/or under a box form? because this vehicle is smaller than the standard big platform which is created as a box (so it's makes sense) and it could be an interesting add-on for exploring on other planets and so on (you're landing, you're taking your little rover and lets go!) .This possibility could let the little rover more usable, at least when it's not about a big exploration operation (I'm not saying "lets put the Monster Rover Frame in a box"). The Cabin could stay like it is. In order to have the Little Rover quickly ready after the landing on the other planet, it request some space on the shuttle (4 slots?) so it's not a big change to the exploration system. So, a rover in kit form! ;)

    Energy Shield Generator

    Ok its one of my old ideas; but I have developed the concept a little more. The principle is simple: -an energy shield capable of protecting the player and his base or equipment from environmental hazards like sand storm and tumbleweeds. -the device need to be placed on platforms or other equipment with enough room (like vehicles) -it should be possible to determine the size of the energy shield “dome” , using a interface tool placed on the Energy Shield generator. Three possibilities: small, medium and large -when activated, the energy shield should consume energy; so an important energy source is needed to use it. the energy consumption should be scalable according to the energy shield size. -it should be possible to nerf the system by adding a charging period to start the machine for example, or other possibilities in order to not make it Over Powered. -a medium printer should be needed to create such device, and the resources used could be a rare or extra-rare ones. (2 titanium or 2 Astronium or 2 hematite)

    Link to an other idea, it could be interesting if the idea "Spac Station" was created. jetpack on th ground and jetpack in space could be a good mobility tool.

    Home planet disappeared [Steam], [0.6.7.0]

    I Agree. sometimes, when you're too far away, you need to go to the atmosphere of another planet and then go again from the shuttle space launching range to get on the good planet.
  11. Summary: First Bug: I used to walk throught a passage which I had created inside a cave, exploring and so on. Few hours laters, may be after an update, a deposit appeared right in the passage I was using, half buiring the tethers. Second Bug: When I jumped in my shuttle with the backpack printer auto-locked on a compound blueprint , the compound stack I left on the side of the shuttle autoloaded inside my backpack printer. I'm not sure if it is a game feature or not, but in my opinion it is not , so here the topic about it. I tried again and it is doing this every time (it's not a isolated bug). Here, the compound on the shuttle and my empty backpack. I'm inside the shuttle, and the compound stack is gone. In fact, it's in my backpack, loaded inside the printer.   12. Summary :When a second enclosed seat was built, and also when I launched again the game , this second enclosed seat was misplaced, and I have to turn it over. So, when built, it was misplaced, so I turned it over. When I launched the game an other time ( for an other game session I mean) , this second seat was back into its misplacement. so I have to turn it over again.   13. Summary: 0.6.5.0 - Steam - Multiplayer Bugs / Corrupted Save Description: First Bug: on Multiplayer during à storm, tethers had a little problem... Second Bug: impossibility to connect on an other player save - information notice :"Impossible Access, User Unreachable". (internet was ok on both sides) Third bug: The save was completely corrupted by a bug: impossible of touch and to take stuff .The avatar was capable of crossing matter. Restart the game was unefficient.   17. It's not reliable enought, noone is reading that little explanation. I think we need to help the player to understand better the environment and game mecanics.
  18. I completely agree. About the minecraft tutorial, I know that, but, in any case, for the console version, devs released a little explanation about the joystick gameplay and mecanics, in order to make the game more nice to news players. And more understandable.
  19. So, this is not a little tutorial, that kind of information box ? (in the right corner of the screenshot) I absolutely and completely disagree with you. Its ok to not have all the game explained by and entire instruction manual, but if you want to have news players, you need to listen them a little. And most of the newbies are a little confused about the game system/mecanics/controls at the moment. So a little tutorial is needed, and a good one.

I can understand why, but the problem is new players (most of them) are not aware about the gameplay, and the actual tutorial is not effective; it's not teaching them, in-game, the basic instructions or system structures of the game. And that is a big issue because if you want to have many players on Astroneer, you need to let them appreciate the game, and talk about it (on social, on steam, to their relatives) in a positive way. If the tutorial is broken, if the newbies don't understand anything, they won't be pleased and they won't talk about Astroneer in a good way, saying " it's too complicated" and "I dont know how to do this and that. So a good and efficient Tutorial is crucial for Astroneer. Not all newbies are going to SES forum to ask how the game is working. And then, they have a bad opinion about the game, and they're spreading that opinion trought comments and posts on Internet. We need a good tutorial, a one veteran players can skip and, with a "reward" at the end in order to push the newbies to do it (like the fact for example to have canisters and tethers unlocked at the end of the tutorial). @Wyvyrias I think you should see that topic.

    Compass Marker for Hab

    It could be an idea but what about the possibility to get lost? It's part of the game atm, and it can create a good situation when you need to build all again until you find your base again. But In my opinion, this is a good idea.

This topic is interesting because when I tried to show the game to my GF (she's a NERD as well) , she's was also extremely confused about the tutorial - game start ; we can't know what they (the new players) are feeling, but actually, the tutorial is not so well-suited for them ; moreover, an other topic was talking about problems to launch the game tutorial when you haven''t any composite deposit near your first base. I think we should think about a new way to develop a little tutorial to explain some things that veteran players don't need : like for example an explanation, in-game, about the print-system, about the building-system, and about the research system. Some things are here, but, its not perfect and can lead to a bad-feeling about the game for new players.

    Introduce Yourself - Megathread

    So Far, Astroneer is the only Game under development I'm helping, using the forum to help, expressing my opinion about the game and reporting bugs. This project is a world of possibilities and the community is nice: it's a good "brainstorming" place for the SES staff and I think the discussion on this forum is usefull to them. I have other 55 hours of gaming so far, and I'm here since the last year. I'm French, so I beg your pardon if there is any mistakes on my posts (sure there are).

    Please make storms power turbines

    The wind system is not so efficient at the moment in my opinion. Locking turbines in case of storms is relevant and realistic. But I don't understand how to mass producing power with turbines, even if there is wind (and not too strong like during storms). A improvement is needed i think.
