    @SES_joe Are y'all waiting until you've finished working on 1.0.5 (or whatever it'll be called) to release another update to Xbox?

    So is this getting released at some point?

    About 10 hours. Players on Xbox One should be able to play the 1.0 release by 11 am EST/ 8 am PST.

    About the Type-D Platform

    Yeah, being able to control when the medium storage goes flat would be nice for certain situations.

    I'm sure y'all have seen pics & vids of people's bases where they have put the Type-D Platforms in the ground to make their top surfaces level with the ground. This is especially useful for solar panels, as they need to be facing up to get the most out of them. But wouldn't it be nice if you didn't have to put it in the ground at the perfect angle to get those sweet solar rays? I propose to make a new platform just like the Type-D, but not angled. That way you can have a huge 10x2 slot platform for your power, without having to worry about setting it up at the perfect angle. This can be very frustrating to do, as there is no easy way to get it done without some kind of angling mod for the terrain tool. Finding the perfect angle to flatten with in deformed terrain is a huge hassle for a lot of people, myself included.

    I whole-heartedly agree with you, Primal Byte (kool username btw). There absolutely should be mold mods for the terrain tool. But not just a square one. We need the 3 basic shapes: cube, polyhedron (pyramid), & sphere. With these, building possibilities would be endless & easy for anyone. At the very least, the alignment mod needs to be fixed & actually make flat surfaces, not that semi-flat garbo. I want an alignment mod that makes me feel like Morty did when Rick showed him how to make a perfectly flat surface. ? Please devs, for the love of organized astroneers everywhere, do this.
  6. I've been playing the game since it was released on Xbox in Game Preview. Storms have always slowed down the game a little bit, but not this much. Especially when I'm on a different planet than Terran, if there is a storm nearby, the frame rate drops to the point of making the game look like it's in slow motion. Additionally, storm winds are affecting the caves. So exploring underground is as much a pain as it is above ground in a storm. The only difference is that there aren't any flying blocks trying to kill you, just deadly flora. Honestly, I wish y'all would just disable storms until they can serve a purpose other than being a tedious obstacle. With these frame rate drops, storms are doing nothing but ruining the experience.

    If you remove the ingredient for the print, then put it back & print, the sound stops. At least, that's been my experience.
  8. @SES_Adam Please, for the love of Astroneers everywhere, fix the interactions for seats, modules, generators, fabricators, & anything else that requires you to hold either the X or Y button to use. This is infuriating! Every da'gum time I go to activate something with X or Y, I have to attempt it 10 or more times before it actually gets it. I always end up whipping out my terrain tool like my Astroneer thinks he's Quickdraw Mcgraw, or he'll get out his research catalog like there's a hot sale going on. Please, please, please hot fix this asap!

    One more thing... I often have the same problem with Inspect interactions. Most of the time, I'll just open up the research catalog instead of inspecting the thing that I'm trying to.

    @SES_Adam @SES_joe I can confirm all of these issues are on Xbox as well. I would like to add that interactive objects are a pain in the ass to use on Xbox. Your Astroneer could be practically making out with whatever you're trying to use/turn on/enter, and will instead just whip out his terrain tool. This is so aggravating! Please hot fix!

    Using Bytes with the Trade Platform

    Idk. I pictured the trade platform looking mostly the same, with a owned Bytes counter next to the hologram that displays what resources you want, and with vertical arrows to select the amount you want & total cost next to it. I think this looks too similar to the research panel & thus would be confusing. Good effort though.

    What? Did you photoshop it to make it appear larger? Yeah, that helps, but I would like it more if it doesn't rely on slots to fill for the trade you want to make. This is why I suggested Bytes as a currency. Imagine saving up 10s of thousands of Bytes (or whatever currency you like) & being able to buy a full trading rocket of any 1 material. Or even buy multiple materials of varying amounts. You could get as much of whatever you're needing, up to the limit of the rocket's slots.

    Absolutely. Although, I still think that Bytes could use an alternative use other than research. Also, a main issue that I have with the Trade platform is that no matter what resources you use for trading to get rare materials, you can never get more than 2 at a time. Even if you use the exact same resource or something equally rare. It needs tweaking at the very least.
