  1. Summary: 131 - Steam - sudden lag after creating chain of modules. Description: I have built rather large bases with dozens of modules but this time I created a long line of modules and every chance had an offshoot inwards where I placed the two resin to create an expanded module... the idea was to create lots of fuel compressors, however I suddenly starting having lag the moment energy started to be involved, it is possible that the lag started after building the modules but I noticed when I started to use a compressor (only have a few out of all the expanded modules as compressors so far) that I had 1/4 -1/2 of the frame rate or less at moments. Platform: Steam Version / Build Number: 131 Specifications: OS: Windows 8.1 x64 Home CPU: Intel Core i7-4700MQ @ 2.4GHz 8 CPUs GPU: 2x NVIDIA GeForce GT 755M (only 1 being used at time of bug) RAM: 8gb Drive: ST1000LM014-SSHD-8GB (is 1 TB not 8GB) and 24.9gb SSD for OS Mouse: Razer Deathadder P.S This is a laptop
  2. try connecting the vehicles to your base via the cable that you can connect when a light-blue outline shows up by the ends of the vehicles when near your base. Click it and a cable should attach the vehicle to the base. This has worked the best for me but it's still iffy.

  5. So when you build more than 1 vehicle bay or build a vehicle bay where a landing zone already exists it is practically impossible to tell which one you are selecting. This is why I propose that when you mouse over more than 1 landing zone (so overlapping ones) the camera would either zoom in/spread out the landing zones or put them in a line on your screen (shift them horizontally or vertically). This would make landing shuttles on ships/vice versa a lot rarer and give more accuracy to the player.

  8. thanks it took almost 2 hours of digging but I found it eventually, on the wiki for other planets it said when there was resin even if only rare...but not for tundra. I'd already run in every direction till I died but then I started tethering and running till I died and then digging....fml never forgetting to build a trade depot again edit: I also edited the wiki so it shows they exist

  11. Hey I have been trying to pull out of the save files what different parts represent, but for some reason I have 2 saves every time I save. So I am wondering if the save is altered and then stored in 2 parts for some reason. It also appears to have been encrypted which makes reading it impossible for someone as new to hex as I am. If anyone has any tips/tricks it'd be much appreciated. I want to hack in 2 resin so I can get off the tundra planet. I used the habitat trick to land and then used it....so no way back home. Since then i want to try some things out and see what the game can produce....but stuck with the hex.

    Have had the same issue and when I get in and it starts to save I was rotating camera at the same time so the motion blur is frozen...looks awful.     Smelter creates bugged resources

    @DeadlyiCoN use dynamite (takes 1 aluminum in inventory to craft) and drop it on or against the smelter and blow it up, then rebuild it. There is currently no way of saving the smelter that I know of.
