  1. Since the crafting patch came out, producing enough hydrazine to fill the fuel tank of a medium or large ship takes an insane amount of time and running around to find enough ammonium. What am I doing wrong? This can't be the way System Era intended it. Or could it... :-0
  2. Maybe iron is a straight resource mined on some planet--and if so, I'd appreciate knowing which one, thanks--but the chem lab and other gear won't tell me.
  3. So I found a broken medium platform and am wondering if there is a way to fix it. This would apply to other broken things but I haven't found them yet.

    The Rover Update - May 8th, 2018

Yeah, thanks, I was hoping they'd put a couple of ports on the back so you could attach a medium battery.

    The Rover Update - May 8th, 2018

Loving the Small Rover but am not clear how you attach power to it. I mean, I have a small solar and a small wind turbine attached to its two ports, but if it's nighttime and there's no wind, you're stuck. Am I missing something?

I am nothing. All my accomplishments are nothing. I yield to your greater kung fu.

    Update 0.6.5 - March 15th, 2018

Zen? You mean "What is the sound of one rover trying to escape from a hole in the ground?"

    Energy Shield Generator

An overcharged energy shield could be a great way to things up (on purpose) such as if you're trying to dig down or into a mountain. You could wait till the shield was just at critical mass, then, from a safe distance, hit it with the photon weapon they're also going to give us for mounting on the Large Rover.

Rover Issues, making me hate the rover.

Let me add two more problems to this list. 1) The "flying rover" problem, which occurs when you eject from the seat and the rover goes flying through the air, somersaulting as it goes, and crashes down some distance away, often upside down. When you press E to turn it right-side up, you often get more acrobatics. 2) The "stuck rover" problem, where it sometimes mysteriously will almost not drive forward, as if caught on something (when it isn't), and just creeps forward, shaking as it goes.
  10. I didn't find this answer after a search so I'm posting the question. I have just tried using a splitter for the first time. I thought it would enable me to change the direction of power flow, not just adjust the mix and levels of power. Does it?

    lamp to the drill head

Me, too. While we're on the subject of lights, let's add one to the end of the terrain deformation tool, and brighter headlights on the trucks. Might as well add black lights and a disco ball to get your underground boogie on. "Shake shake shake...Shake shake shake...Shake your booty..."

    Remaining Time

I was just going to post this, that the Research module feature a meter or progress bar on the outside that shows how much time is left.

    Lack of End game

I agree, mon. I was so psyched for this latest update, for example, I deliberately didn't play for two weeks leading up to it to increase my eagerness. And it's interesting and practical and definitely has advantages over the previous kind of base building, but...in a short time I'd done everything new and got that "What's the point..." feeling. A base, by definition, is only a beginning, a starting point. It must lead to full scale civilization, trade, and looking at Victorian photos of ladies in their undergarments.

    Drones

I've supported this idea for a long time. You could have a tablet/phone type device to which the drone sends video. Also, if GPS were implemented that would be great. And a cheese cart.
