  1. The save file is available, have fun! http://www.ddz.net/Astroneer/Astroneer-FreefallShaft.zip
  2. I finished the shaft to the other side, but nothing more was really needed. So I made this fun video for everyone to enjoy. https://gaming.youtube.com/watch?v=S9cme3rRzkc&feature=share
  3. Updated with a fun video - https://gaming.youtube.com/watch?v=S9cme3rRzkc&feature=share
  4. I am happy to announce that I have roughed in the shaft to the opposite end of the planet. Now to work on getting rid of the earth along the way. It might now be as smooth this round.
  5. I dug down with the landcaping tool, placing tethers as I descended. At this point I am probably 80% of the way to the other side.
  6. I made a shaft to the center just to do a freefall!
  7. I just discovered that you can click on an pick up an item at your death and it will be at you home when you respawn.
  8. I have found that when a vehicle (truck) thinks that it is falling, it REALLY drops the FPS to below 5 FPS. One you have it upright AND on all 4 wheels, then the FPS stutter is gone. This would assume that those truck that are in orbit are also in the falling process and making for worse FPS. Mouse/Keyboard Windows 10 Pro
  9. Under the Library list, right click on the title of the game and then select the far right tab which should be OPT IN or BETA and then select to opt in to the bet and keep updated. Then restart steam and then the game.
  10. Yeah, I have a truck in orbit around my planet.
  11. It doesn't stop working, it actually moves position causing a bump in the wall where you position over your body.
  12. I completely missed this because I work odd hours. So I'll watch it now and catch up. What's weird is that I did a live stream right after they were done and went over the patch notes myself and had some fun.
  13. I have a pretty hefty machine and I do tend to play for really long sessions AND I stream at the same time on youtube. I do notice considerable frame drop loss depending on who I am playing with at the time.
