  1. I have no idea what happened here. I played this particular save two days ago, I did not change anything with my settings in game or my graphics settings, but when I load the game today, I see all the trees, and rocks, have nothing but flat black colors, and no detail. Other objects (such as the underground plants) do not seem to have been changed.... 410 hours in Astroneer over the past 6 months, I've seen nothing like this, ever. Does anyone have any idea why? FYI: This save was started *after* the most recent patch. I started a new save, and the colors and textures are back to normal. (Third picture) But I would like to continue playing my old save... Any ideas?
  2. 3/3 modules with lost connections. Win7 Steam 32GB RAM GTX 1070
  3. This time the connecting umbilical disconnected before I even chose which module to build - immediately after putting in the 2 resin to the end of the line. So far, 2/2 modules disconnected from base. First one after selecting it to be a printer and adding the copper, the second purely by adding the two resin.
  4. First module built was a Printer - once built - the connecting umbilical disappeared. SteamWin 7GTX 107032GB RAM
  5. I am seeing a LOT more of these strange 'seams' that show the caverns below than I have ever seen in the current build. I had that happen to me ONE time (screenshot posted in bug forum when it happened) but never since. Now after 10 min on Experimental I've seen them just about every few steps. Steam Win 7 GTX 1070 32GB RAM

    Proof of Life? :D

Is there life on other planets? Perhaps... at least there certainly was, at some time!
  7. It's sort of hard to explain what this is, the top left is one 2D 'sheet' with no depth, the bottom is the ground I'd shaped, and the middle stripe is below-ground (which I shouldn't be able to see) How this happened: I'd meticulously flattened out the ground around my base, and logged out for a second, when I logged back in, this is what happened to the ground - not sure if you can tell, but it actually is showing me a cavern that's underneath the ground I was working on (you can just barely make out some seeds at the lower left). To fix it, I had to use the terrain shaping tool around the edges, then re-flatten it. Even glitches like this can't stop me from being addicted to this game though! It is seriously unlike anything I've ever seen, or played before, and SO fun! Thank you for creating it and for continuing to develop it! Windows 7, GTX 1070, Steam Version
  8. Ohhhh wouldn't that be cool if we could research Teleporters?
  9. nVidia driver is the latest. GTX 1070. It does appear after restarting, it went away for a time, but now after another 5 hours it is back, so @Sirdec seems to have also experienced this, and possibly related to something about having the game running for a while? Really hope it is resolved, it's quite aggravating! (But I still love this game! )
  10. I am having a horrible graphics effect - a Lens Flare, if you will, with any reflective surface - another person's helmet, a solar panel, even some plants - where there are giant white lens flares that obscure my entire game and make it impossible for me to use anything (because I can't see where to click) or see what's in my backpack. So far I have just worked around it, by adjusting the game's camera with Right Click-drag, but it is increasingly frustrating. Tonight while playing with a friend, I was complaining constantly about the 'Flare' being in the way. Finally we realized he did not have this issue. We both stood in the same spot, and took screenshots - he does NOT have this effect, at all. A.) Does anyone else have this issue? B.) Does anyone know how to solve it? (There is nothing in graphics settings that affects it) Also: LOVE THIS GAME! It is incredibly stable for a pre-Alpha!
