@Northstarranger Thank you so much for your feedback ! Yes, these ideas weren't intended for upcoming updates, but I do hope the developers keep this in mind so they could work towards these goals. Also I certainly do hope there will be more end goals than these. -

@syterth I'm pretty sure there isn't a limit but that would be highly impractical and very boring. Props to the guy who actually has the patience to test it.

Short, sweet, and to the point. Great idea, I totally agree. Other research reward ideas could be like brighter flash lights, or expanded oxygen/energy tank modules. Oh and maybe an enhanced HUD module that allows you to tell the time in day and wind speeds etc.

Drawing oxygen from the vehicle should also take energy as well. Or you could just have oxygen tanks on the vehicle instead.

What better way to invest in your own settlement then to network with other NPCs from the same or other planets. Plus expanding your own settlement to house traveling merchants or companions would be a nice way to encourage people to actually want to go back home. These implementations would also make room for more achievements such as making a city for 10 or more NPCs or establishing 3 or more trade routes with other settlements. I guess the best way to start towards this path would be to add some interesting NPCs with programmable AI such as telling them to look for resources, make thi
